Policy Twitter Drug War Thread.

Part of that says stoned and the other part says on drugs. One headline seems to be implying its just cannabis and the other headline. The article includes all drugs and only states that people have "tested positive for" cannabis after being in a crash. My suspicion is that many of those people had not actually used cannabis recently because of how long THC sticks around in adipose tissue.

From my perspective the article has a quite biased slant and uses terms incorrectly to incite a reaction from readers. I'm not inclined to believe their assertions.
 
Maybe they count alcohol/grass combo as blaming weed which is definitely backwards. ^I think some guy above you has it correct, every positive test for weed counts as being high and causing the crash [lol] , and weed tests positive a very long time, it used to be weeks but I dont know the current tests thank fuck I love weed a

Huge amount of people drink pop every day (but they buy it since they have money).
All dances are strange and more people should be dancing regularly.
Goes through trash? Most of what's at stores is trash too tbfh so just a money thing.

Really, the only thing strange about the behavior is the guy didn't do the last item on the list, walking away, as soon as some freak started filming him.

wait when you say "people", do you mean like doctors or non schizo people in general find schizophrenic dellusions entertaining for sick purposes, or do you mean the schizophrenics are cought up in their own dellusions for entertainment?

there are definitely all different kinds of schizophrenics, like some people just hear voices outside their head and can deal with reality pretty sane. some get conused by voices and that makes them dellusional... and some schizophrenics are just straight up dellusional... i definitely have some believe in god because of some experience that i have and am schizophrenic.. i read some book on nietzshe and what i got out of it partially was to even doubt some experiences that i think might be reality like to constantly believe that i might be insane, so i never really hold any of my beliefs as truth. i just kind of feel like certain things have a great possibility. sometimes i even feel like i know there is truth and god is real and i don't doubt my experieince. but even non schizophrenic people find strong belief that god has contacted them. so this is kind of confusing.. i dunno... i feel like a lot of people that get labeled schizophrenic just get off on being sick and disturbing, like homeless people exposing themselves. i feel like that should have some different diagnosis than schizophrenia for differentiating between people that are just experiencing voices outside their head... idk. doesn't really matter too much, but i feel like they are kind of lumping a lot of groups of people together. i know they have a few different types of schizophrenia, but i feel like they should label people a little better from what i read.

i don't really get offended... but poster landrews use of the word schizophrenic seemed kind of funny to me... but i also use the word the same way sometimes.
 
some people drive really well stoned. i'll say it again and again as i've back seat driven with people getting high many times. one of my friend's couldn't drive at all though... i think legalizing weed could increase the amount of accidents with stoners, it's obviously going to sky rocket the way they are making these stats cause it takes like 30 days to get weed out of the system... but i saw this older lady lighting up a joint in the dispensary parking lot one time, and i thought it was kind of off. i doubt she's that used to smoking, and to just be puffing a joint by her self leaving the parking lot... not a good look imo. she prob lived like a minute away too.
 
also some stoners drive better while stoned and then when they are not using they are burnt out and don't pay attention as well.. idk if i'm for stoned driving. i feel like they should have a license if you pass the test you can get a weed license, and if you can't and want to smoke, you take the bus.... anybody can slip up though.

people putting make up on while driving is crazy too. like wtf. not enough hours in the day.. it's like they can't really tell how many car crashes are from people having to work two jobs to pay rent and they could've avoided the accident if they weren't so stressed out and sleep deprived from the two jobs.. just an easy way to blame cannabis. accidents happen... maybe compltely change up society.
 
I think making people better drivers is a stretch, but it certainly makes people more defensive and slow drivers.

It could also realistically make people dangerous drivers, but I think most people realize they shouldn't be driving if they are that stoned either, they probably don't want to.

I've certainly been so stoned where I didn't feel comfortable driving, but unlike alcohol it doesn't lower your inhibitions, if anything it increases inhibition.
