TV show cops,arrests regarding drugs

Hey i dont know if this should go in here but here it is. If any of you are watching that COPS bullshit, what do you think? I find most of them 99% are complete dicks. Direct quotes ''put away the drug dealers and users'' '' I like to chase the bad guys with drugs'' for fucks sake says the shitheads who drnk liters of coffee, eat 4 dozens of dounuts a day and drink alchol probalby everrynight. I hated them already before the show but now its even worse.

Ill admit there are some people who are just asking for it, aka the guy who fell asleep at an interscetion with a bong in plain sight in his car, a bottle of xanax with different dosages of xanax in it, weed,etc. But in most cases its such bullshit. Like setting up a drug bust on a USER who wants to buy something like a few pills of oxy. ANd there are 20 cops there who tell the girl how rotten she is and all. And they act all happy when they find a pill or a gram of weed or something.
 
Well, they have a job to do, and it's programmed in their minds that they're ridding the world of evil.
I don't agree with them most of the time, but some people on that show deserve it.
However, there are some cool cops out there. Some that will let you go if you only have a bit of weed on ya.

Some of our UK cop shows make me laugh.
They are in their body armour and knock down the front door of the house and go rushing in scaring the shit out of everybody inside.
Then after searching the whole house they find a couple of grammes of weed and then try to make out that the whole operation was a massive success.
 
Its hilarious isn't it. Last night I was watching this show for the first time called AFP, it is about the Australian Federal Police, anyway, they were trying to bust a few guys for cocaine importation and during the course of their investigation the ringleader freaked out and put everything on hold for like 2 years (why they were still following him at this point is beyond me honestly) until eventually it is back on. I think they were trying to bring back either 1.5 or 2 kilos but could only even get one (lol!) and so basically this like 3 year long investigation stopped one kilogram of cocaine from reaching the streets of Australia, it is laughable! Poor bastard who masterminded this shit somehow copped like 16 years in prison which is beyond me, usually in Australia you work hard to get a hefty sentence and here he is losing more than 1.5 decades for a single kilo.

I love watching the show cops but I don't know why, it ultimately just makes me angry and sad most of the time. The shit you see on there is so crazy, if that is how US cops act on camera I shudder to think how they would off camera, they do some seriously dispicable shit at times during that show. I distinctly remember one episode where a fucking huge cop chokes this skinny junkie bitch to stop her swallowing one or two measley crack rocks and later explains to her she could have died of he didn't do that. Hmmmm, what seems more likely to kill a skinny crackhead chick, taking a small dose of crack orally (is it even active that way?!) or being choked by some asshole three times her size, I mean honestly. They fucking put a snippet from that on the opening credits for one season too where he has his forearm around her throat. I have seen that several times, choking someone trying to swallow a couple bags of their DOC and claiming it could kill them, this one is just the one that stands out because of the stature of this woman compared to the male cop assaulting her.

It happened to me, they dumped out a gram and a half of sour diesel i had and let me go. Only because they took a realtive of mien to the hospital some time ago. Im sure that played a role. But this is like once in a million arrests, i just got hella lucky. ANd i respect the cops who let me off with no chrage. But sadly it aint like this 99 % of the time.

Fuckin ridiculous. Scariest part is msot of them believe that they are so good to society and rid the world of scum and all and catch major drug rings by finding a couple G's of this and that. Lol.

Fuck weed. 6 months ago id say diferently, but honestly now that im unable to smoke it due to heavy anxiety i think diferently. What about stims, opiates,beznos? I agree that weed is harmless in some aspects, physically yes its very safe, but ive experienced bad paranoia from it, i know some people who went into psychosis due to weed. Thats why i think if they legalise weed they should legalise everything.

LOOOL at the AFP. What a bunch of failures in uniforms. THey probably got blackout drunk that night and celebrated catchign a guy with kilo. Wow. And i agree with you i dont even wana imagine what goes with the camera off. I feel mad empathy for the people that get arrest with opiates or benzos, because they will probably be withdrawing in jail and all. What i dont get is all the traffic stop busts. Like if i go out and i have something illegal it will go deep in my boxers and stay there. Unless i go to the station they wont find it. And the DOC trick they pull is disgusting.

No kiddin' if that happend 99% of the time then people would be out committing crimes all day everyday.
Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. It's a crapshoot.
 
Cops doesn't bug me too much. It's that DEA show that gives me a sick feeling.
Watch someone get popped cause of some info the DEA got, then they sit on them. Give up your guy, last chance, etc.
So, the guy with a borderline felony case(or sometimes much less) gives up the guy higher up who might be looking at 6-15.
It kills me to hear the fink set up a drop with the guy being set up. It's all casual business, the type I'm sure a lot if us have heard a few times before.....
"Yeah, I need such and such." "OK, where you at? Your house?" "Yeah." "Be there in a few."
Guy getting set up rolls up, thinking it's the same old shit and all the sudden there's 15 masked police running at him with guns. Ugh.
I know, I know it's part of the game and what people know can happen. It's just hard to watch. So, I don't. Not anymore.

Damn that sounds fucked up. I hate the busts of that kind they do on cops too. BUt honestly the suppliers sometimes fuck up, because the guy buying is just screamin cops for a mile away its so apparent. Whats the name of the DEA show? Im curious to see a few episodes. I think the people snitching are fucked up too.TOo many people fall for that.
 
A lot of "cops" are usually shot in small cities where all they handle are drunks and domestic violence, so i think drugs or something harder excites them. Im not taking DV lightly, just saying a lot of calls are just bitter ex wives trying to put their ex husbands in jail and allege abuse that never happened, and im sure cops get tired of having to play peacemaker when theres real DV going on, sometimes not taken as seriously because theres so many wolf criers.


Anyway, my uncle was on an episode of cops. The episode they shot in Anchorage, Alaska. I didnt even know it until i was sitting on the couch smoking weed and thought it was cool COPS was shooting in my hometown, and then bam there they are filming in the back of his car. His episode was uneventful, he was just dragging a drunk out of a trailer park. I called my aunt and was like I just saw Arthur on TV, and she was like yeah he shot an episode but never mentioned it because he didnt want to seem cheesy or bragging or whatever.

I think it must be quite a mess trying to figure out who did hwat on the domestic calls, where person 1 tells persons 2 did all the bad things and the opposite. Also IMO the dads calling cops because their sons are fighting is wrongful. Way to slap a charge on your son because you cant handle him. I mean when i grew up i knew a few brothers who where fighting all the time and it would get messy sometimes up to broken bones and all but never cops were called. And their parents were pretty uptight,anti drug and shit but they had the dignity not to fuck their own son at least. That mustve been pretty WTF moment seeing your uncle on COPS lol..

I've done a total of 6.2 years in prison in my 50 years on earth. All the times I did something stupid. I've learned a few things. 1) even your best friend will rat you out....you don't think so? Stupid.2) Never tell your girlfriend your business.....EVER. If she gets pissed at you she WILL call the cops. Yep, even your cool girlfriend. You think cops are dicks? They are doin' what they are supposed to do. We do what we do....bein' dicks back. Know who will always win? Guess. I was sitting in a bar in 1983 and three cops came in to serve a felony warrant against me. I told them to get fucked and they told me "we can do this the easy way,or the hard way" I chose the hard way and got my ribs and head cracked!!! Ha.
All you pussies watching "cop" television, fuck that. It never happens the way on TV. Steer clear of police. If you can't and get busted try not to rat unless it's a serious felony. Ask for counsel but counsel will tell you to roll over. Thats how things really work.
Watch your stupid police shows but when it really happens to you watch how fast most you hens cackle!!!

I think one of the consequences of the drug war and other things (lots of military spending = surplus military hardware donated to police forces) has been the overly-jacked nature of too many US cops. My favorite characterization of too many cops nowadays is military wannabes who were too stupid to pass the ASVAB. :p

There are nice cops out there, but too many of them start getting into yelling-barking-hissy-fit moods for no reason. My personal experience is that most other countries have nicer police, though if that UK cops show is really starting to imitate our own, maybe not anymore.

Quit trying to act hard and shit it doesnt impress anyone. As for never trusting a girl i agree with you. About friends it depends. i have always been loyal to my friends and will always be. Dont do the crime if you cant handle the time. And the fact that we watch those shows doesnt mean we dont know waht its like in real life. Im not going to into details but i know they can be brutal. I just dont like them and find their behavior idiotic, and the show cops in which they ''behave'' still show some examples of that.

Lol i like your characterization. Its different in every country. In Bulgaria for example, if they catch with no license give em a 20 or two and youre good to go. THey are so low paid that they will prefer to get some money that way then do arrests. And they very rarely will stop you like they do in the US or Canada, by that i mean flashing the lights and pulling up behind you. They will mainly stand on a corner on foot, and stop a car when they feel like it.

What sucks though is if they find even .2 of some bud no bribes will do it and your ass is going to jail. SOme will even tell you why you are doing weed its shit blablalba do cocaine real mens drugs hahahahha

If youre looking at a small time felony and the police ask you to rat, dont do it. Just take the charge. Ive seen too many people work with the cops and the cops NEVER serve their end of the bargain. Seen lots of people get the crap beat out of them in jail because they rolled on someone with the promise of being let go, even though they only had less than a gram or so. You can already tell whats up when youre in the holding tank with them and they keep getting pulled out and other fishy things. And if the cops a dick, once they brought a girl back in and was like see how soon we can get you out. Well, she never got out. Cops on that low level asking you to rat with promises of freedom generally dont have any authority in letting you out or dropping charges anyway if you do rat. Its the higher ups like detectives that can pull those strings .

Point is, just dont rat. Ive had ex friends snitch and now its like theyre walking around with a big red x on their head, everyone knows not to deal with them. If you arent prepared for the legal consequences of your actions, you shouldnt be playing this game. And just cos you slipped up gives you no right to drag down others with you. And if you do snitch, you will not get special protection in jail, not until after you get your ass beat. And the guards dont really care for your safety either. My point, snitching is horrible for the long term, just dont do it, and if you get caught up, just take your charge with your head held high and it will be over before you know, and it will be a much more pleasant time in jail because you will be treated with respect. Jail will be hell if you snitch, and those cops who promised to get you off if you roll on your dude arent gunna do shit for you except arrest your dude, and god have mercy if you get put in the same mod, because cops think its funny to tell an arrested person who tipped them off.
