Is anyone else going to watch this? I'm usually very against shows that have gross out/fear factor type challenges..but there is something about seeing the real world road rules people going through massive amounts of dramatic stress that appeals to me. I'll probably just flip that channel during the yucky parts. It looks like it is going to be FULL OF good fights and drama..anyone gonna watch tonight? (10pm on mtv)

Yeah, I'm gonna watch, but it's going to conflict with my plans to watch the "Out on the Edge" comedy special on Comedy Central.

But I'm assuming that both will be re-aired, so I'll probably flip back and forth.

It was scary when Julie was yanking on Veronicas safety cord. What a bitch!
And I don't blame Ace for just going home. I wouldn't have even put my head in those bugs for as long as he did (about 4 seconds LOL). I think Ace is waaayyy too much of a sensitive sweetie for the Inferno!
 
LOL! I guess Ace just wasn't the right competetor for this game. It's sad because he's leaving his woman behind... Hopefully she will (read: won't) be faithful to him.

And seriously, what was Julie's problem? I would have waited until Veronica got out of the harness, and then I would have smacked her around. She was just fucking around wasting time.

They should have Katie and Veronica fight to the death.

I think this is going to be a great season.

Mike Coral Veronica Have they or have they not been in atleast 3 of the last 4 seasons of this stuff, and literally half of the people from the gauntlet is back for this one,
 
They brought back those that had major drama last time, so they will create more drama this time.

I'm disappointed that Sarah is not on this show, she is my favorite because she is quite different from everyone else, and quite the underdog.
 
I think the reason they bring people back is because they create good drama, and also, because some of the former cast members have kids or are busy with other aspects of their lives and are not able to do every challenge.
I think Katie and Veronica are going to fight to the death...they showed them fighting in the previews...in towels. Veronica was topless holding a towel or a shirt or something over her ta tas... WTF!? LOL not that I'm complaining.
I think Julie is a stupid bitch and I hope she suffers terribly...LOL for when Veronica said something like "Stop grabbing my vagina you MORMAN!"

I think it would have been good to have Sarah back again as well...it was terrible how she got voted into the Gauntlet every single time...lol at least her team won.
 
^ Yeah, it was crappy how she kept being voted into the Gauntlet, but she sure did kick ass at it!
 
I know I will not set out to watch this show each week but I will definately catch it when it is re-aired. I am tired of the same people being on it. Veronica is one of the people I think should just go the hell away - she has been on just about every mtv thing for the past couple of years - I am just sick of her. I am also getting tired of Coral - she sucked so hardcore last challenge and yet she wasn't sent home. It just gets really boring to watch the same people and pretty much the same drama every challenge. I do wish Sarah was back though - she really did prove alot of people wrong last challenge - she kicked major ass in the Gauntlet.
 
Coral is such a fucking bitch...
She really had to sit there and talk shit to Ace when he was ALREADY packing his bags, having to leave his girlfriend, and face the humiliation of being the first one voted in to the Inferno and the first to go home. How could anyone be mean to Ace, he is such a puppy!

yeah, they are bringing the same people back. most of these people were on the gauntlet or other challenges too. i think they just want the people who will/ might cause drama. would it be a challenge without veronica, the slutty bitch?
 
Face it. This is their job people. They have to compete or their lives are meaningless. It was obvious this was the truth when Yes and Veronica continually kept coming back season after season. Bravo to you viewers for giving meaning to their lives. =D I did notice an old face on this show from the 2nd season of Road Rules...Timmy! That guy's funny. I think he's been on one of these already too, no?

I used to be such a big Real World fan in the '90s too...*sigh* These challenges were great the first few times around...now I hardly recognize the old folks who I watch the show for. Where's Jacinda from London or Susie from Road Rules Australia? *swoon*
 
i was hoping jisela would be back. she can cause drama, so i was surprised she wasn't there. and she's so fuckin' hot. she's been my favorite since her first episode. maybe on the next challenge...
 
I've always liked Julie, she's got moxie. But I couldn't believe that she was going all crazy on that girls safety strap in that challenge.

I mean, she was grabbing the bungey and pulling and tearing. I was freaking out, I'm like, 'Holy shit, someone's finally going to die on this show!!' But then she made it (luckily) back to the 'base.

If I was the girl Julie was doing that to I can tell you that I would straight beat the hell out of Julie. That kinda behavior is unaceptable, and I (even though I've always like Julie) thought she should be kicked off the show for that.

She could've killed someone. Sometimes I think these shows might be going a bit over the edge.

P.S. RIP Mary Ellen Bunim.

Last nights episode was lame. I don't like how they have to have two challenges for an inferno. It's cool when the episode is an hour long, like the first one..but they just can't show enough in a half an hour. And now we have to wait another week to see the inferno!

The only interesting thing last night was Trishelle being a pyscho bitch and causing drama. Shit, I remember when Trishelle was sweet. WTF did the real world do to that girl...

I agree that one challenge per episode sucks. I want to see some freaking Inferno action everytime I watch, but I suppose that they have to draw it out.

But I think the hotel room smashing challege was awesome. I would have loved to do that, but by myself. I would take the scene in Pink Floyd's "The Wall" were Pink freaks out as the blueprint of how to smash up a hotel room. =D
