I was so excited when I read this article. Pee Wee's playhouse is going to be on Cartoon Network on Adult Swim starting in July!

LOS ANGELES -- Paul Reubens -- AKA Pee-wee Herman – said it's a "dream come true."
The doors to "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" are about to reopen on the Cartoon Network.
The Emmy Award-winning show that used to highlight Saturday mornings on CBS was canceled in 1991. It lost rerun momentum shortly thereafter when its star was arrested for indecent exposure in Florida.
Cartoon Network said Pee-Wee's kaleidoscopic world of the playhouse will be featured its Adult Swim lineup starting in July.

This is the best news ever.. I think my coworker and i are going to have to make a permadate to watch this everytime it's on..

Anything that ends up pissing off adult swims stuck-up anime watching audience is ok by me. Watching the guys from adult swim yank their chains on-air and on their message boards is magic.

^Actually the original pee-wees playhouse wasn't meant for children. Some tv execs gave Paul Reubens the go-ahead even though it was only a parody. The first season is full of innapropriate double- entendres, i'm suprised it stayed on the air as long as it did. Not to say it's meant for stoners... but that's probably why adult swim is carrying it.

Pee-Wee's big adventure is a fucking awesome movie. I dont care what anyone says, I have it on dvd and I love it. I mean come on, he gets to be in a Twisted Sister video!!!!!
