tv: Look around you

I've watched a few episodes on the Adult Swim site recently. It's a great format for comedy, kind of like the mock after school special format but able to riff off of the formalities of science experiments. In the episode "Water," the way the experimenter's hand gets progressively more red and blistered as he repeatedly pulls eggs out of "1000 degree" boiling water and never really learns from trial and error is a great example of the show's simultaneously crude and smart smart style--excellent stoned viewing. Thanks for reading, or, I should say, "theading."

a (british) friend and i )(re)discovered these high a few months ago and resonated greatly then blew our minds. they are so well done.

we didn't think you rabble would 'get it'.

hope this helps. :)

tis rather wonderful though. also please check out darth marenghi's dark place for similar sillyness. :)

then move on to the IT Crowd.

I try to limit my intake of British television to shows about selling off antiques found in attics for trips to Florida, and Gillian McKeith telling fatties how unappealing their leavings are.

Oh, and those transsexual maids.

BBC America really is a horror story.
