I’m worn, click-click-boom.

A blistered, gristle heart.

I tried to push you away.

I can't hold onto you,

You’re slipping through.

Contorted truth.

Our digits linger.

Red thread,

Pierced fingers.

Sad suppressed,

Sorrow
supposed.

We've been used.

Smooth lies easily bruise.

Abandoned aches,

Shared heart---breaks.

Loving you,

Means letting go.

I see your pain, mirrored in me,
I feel your sorrow as it is my own,
Fear not, for time will heal thee,
The light will reach to the bone.
Reach for tomorrow hesitantly,
But reach for then nonetheless,
Each day your strength will fill you more,
To feel is to not be heartless.
Embrace the pain for you have earned it,
By living a life that explores many roads,
You've found the key and turned it,
And now bloom like a summer rose.
Fear not, unknown friend,
Your pain will end,
Your heart will mend,
And with faith in tomorrow,
You will never bend.

OMG 🥹🤌🏻I'm speechless, thank you for writing this! It's lifted my soul. You're quiet gifted in wordcraft as well. Keep it up.

Apologies for not having much time and capacity to read lately, but this is customarily beautiful.
