I was speaking to the wife of a kratom researcher out of India and was mentioning the fact that when I'm not dosing kratom daily my carpal tunnel symptoms seem to almost go away. She reported that her husband noticed the same among users in his area. I'd like some input from kratom users here on whether they've noticed, during their use, any traits of carpal tunnel or ulnar nerve issues like: weak wrists/hands, tingling in fingers, inability to maintain performance of fine hand skills, etc. I've got a hypothesis brewing if this is the case. Thank you. Also, I'm new here and if this is in the wrong section I apologize.

As of a few days ago I have been clean from kratom completely. And I wanted to add to this thread that I have experienced a mark decrease in my earlier described carpal tunnel symptoms. My hands are less weak, more agile, and quite faster on the guitar. The ulnar nerve pain I was feeling seems to have dissipated a great deal and I am able to type in a fluidity unknown to me for years of my kratom use.

I had such symptoms not from kratom (which I never tried ) but from abusing fentanyl bucally. After over a year or so of daily fentanyl abuse I experienced waking up with numb fingers, with pain in wrists and hands, numbness to the point I couldn't tell what I was touching with the index & third fingers n thumb of left hand and pain in tendon that runs from wrist to thumb.

It was to the point a neurologist recommended surgery. As I suspected it was due to the fentanyl I opted for waiting and tapered off the fent while going to occupational therapy. About 3 months later, all symptoms were gone. The neurologist was surprised at the turnaround. But she was unaware of my fent addiction...
