Ever since my one off drug addiction years ago I have had tension headaches and I think I have found a cause for it.
I remember when I quit speed and previously had taken a pill a couple months earlier I started getting eye wobbles and jaw trembles, they lasted a while although it improved in the 1st 12 months.

In those 1st few months I could voluntarily wobble my eyes although not anymore, but even until today I cant focus hard on anything for longer than a a couple of seconds without my eyes moving slightly.
I am sure this is causing me nervous tension, not to mention frown lines.

I know you can train your brain for certain movements and co-ordination, for example when learning to drive for some people it is difficult to keep the steering wheel straight and briefly look at your passenger, but you can teach yourself to do this with ease.

Sometimes when I look to the side my neck wobbles or my eyebrows move this never used to happen, so I have googled some exercises which I have been doing daily to retrain my facial expressions.
I am also seeing a neurologist soon about it.

I also have ptosis in my left eye unrelated to drugs that has gradually got worse over many years, it is minor though.

When I do these eye exercises I try to not have a poker face but a smile with the eyes, if this is difficult because I am in a bad mood I discovered my own exercise for this. It might sound weird but it is working for me, I close my eyes and tense them while letting my eye lids flicker, the eye will look up, I cant explain how to do this but it is usually naturally done during orgasm. If smiling makes you happy and frowning makes you sad, then that correlates to this eye exercise making you relaxed and look more happy in the eyes.

One exercise I do that I found surprisingly good was the one where you just stare at one thing for as long as is comfortable, I turned it in to a mindfulness (CBT) exercise where I just completely relaxed and let my vision and neck muscles do whatever they wanted, it was like meditating.

I think if you have any facial ticks drug related or not, you might be able to get rid of them by forcing them to happen in private and just relaxing.

I had a friend who had never taken drugs but if you were to rub his chest he would raise his eyebrows, he overcame that although I am not sure how I believe it would of been with repeat exposure, the key being to stay relaxed.

If anyone is interested here are the links to the exercises:

What surprises me most is I did not really realise I had a problem I sort of just thought it would go away and I just forgot about it but doing these exercises made me realise I need to force a bigger improvement over the 1st 12 months.
