I've been practicing mindfulness meditation for about 5 months now, I am diagnosed with extreme anxiety disorder and bipolar manic depression, the first two months I could only concentrate for about 2-3 minutes. Now with the meds and counseling I'm at about 10-13 minutes. My end goal is to use the meditation enough to where I can titrate my meds till I take very little and just meditate twice a day. I'm curious if anyone has had success with this type of meditation? Or any tips? I used to be the strongest sceptic when it came to meditation, until I did it with a very patient psychologist.
