After reading this heartbreaking story about the death of a Russian tropicamide user, I did some research on the stuff and found it's a potent anticholinergic. And I'm finding it difficult to believe that anyone, never mind a large number of addicts, could actually find shooting up anticholinergics to be an enjoyable experience.
Is anticholinergic drug abuse common in the former Soviet Union - or anywhere? I have heard many tales of people who have used datura once, but very few of people who used it twice. Injecting a deliriant repeatedly takes self-destruction to a whole new level - and this is the country that brought us krokodil and Coaxil abuse. I'd love to hear from anyone who has firsthand or eyewitness experience of tropicamide abuse: based on everything I know about that family, jenkem would give you a more enjoyable high.
