Opioids Tramadol unusually strong?

I searched for a tramadol thread before posting this...

I always hear how crappy the tram high is, it's either a crap high or nonexistant. My experience has been different. Out of all the opioids I've tried tramadol is the hardest hitting and the rushiest. It also lasts about 7-12 hours. One time I started nodding on it (only time I've nodded from opioids, every other high dose of every other one just gives me too much nausea)... I started nodding 10 hours after ingestion. That was with 400 mg. One time I took 150 mg and puked 10 mins later, and that gave way to many hours of extremely hard blissful euphoric high. It's definitely the most euphoric opioid Ive tried, with the least side effects as well. That's out of hydrocodone, oxycodone, codeine, buprenorphine, and kratom.

I think this has something to do with enzymes, so can someone tell me what exactly might be at play here and why tramadol is such a better feeling opiate than all the others I've tried (including OXY!)

Speaking of oxycodone, tramadol did feel the most like that.

Also, anyone else get this much out of low-dosed tramadol? (I'm aware 400 mg isn't low and can cause seizures, btw)

Never. Consider yourself one of the few lucky ones. I guess it is true what they say about drugs effecting everybody differently.

7-12 hour high? Damn...

I'be been taking 400mgs a day for a few days now and it last all day for me, I take 300 mg in the morning and 100 more at lunch pretty much last till bed.

I suppose that I'm one of the lucky ones too. I personally do not care too much for Opioids. I do enjoy them, but not enough to search for them. If they are offered to me I will indulge if the situation is right. I have tried Kratom, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Tramadol. Out of those Tramadol is by far my favorite.

It feels quite similar to Oxycodone for me as well. It's euphoric, blissful, and comes without the nausea of Oxy (for me at least). My personal favorite part about it is that I find it pretty energetic. I find myself chatty, wanting to move around and do stuff. It feels ALMOST like Oxy with a pinch of an amphetamine. Not necessarily like the combo of the two, but if Oxy and amphetamine had a baby and the baby ended up with most of Oxy's features. The fact that I can still feel it for 12 hours is nice, the fact that it remains pleasant for those 12 hours is even nicer. I suppose that it is relevant that I much prefer stimulants over opioids, so it makes sence that a stimulating opioid would be my favorite. Yeah........ Tramadol is nice

i have found tramadol to be super unpredictable in terms of what it does especially when i take for pain on a day to day regimen. when i was off pain medication for 3 years and re-injured myself i took 3 50mg tramadols and i had a similar experience as you. a very intensely euphoric, rushy oxy esque high that lasted for many, many hours. i was very surprised as i had tried tramadol before in the midst of my worst days of a previous, high dosed opiate addiction and it did absolutely nothing at all.

one thing is for sure, at least for me.... tramadol stops working very quickly when taken everyday and becomes almost worthless.

I only take tram when its all I can find but IMO in high doses it reminds me of methadone.

What other opiates have you done and what ROA's that you think tramadol is better than?

To be honest I only did tramadol orally. I've only did opiates orally in general, except suboxone which I did sublingually and plugged. and CWE'd hydrocodone that I insufflated.

The tramadol gave a greater effect than even the hydro did, even though that was great.

I was wondering more if you had done stronger opiates like oxycodone, hydromorphone, heroin, etc, and still thought that tramadol was stronger. Hydrocodone is a pretty weak opiate as well so it's no surprising some doses of tramadol would give you a greater effect.

I've done oxycodone and tramadol gave much more euphoria with much less nausea compared to it.

I'm a 'couple years in to my tram taking, and can safely say that I feel the effect of 200mg for 8-9 hours with a halflife of 12 hours. Obviously, the euphoria is very dim due to tolerance and the effect of the drug its self. Something about it's properties just wires my receptors just right.

Spot on for me also.

I have tried as many opioids as I could get my hands on, from kratom to heroin. Tramadol was my first addiction. (Since it was my first steady supply). But I also really liked it a lot and had a great and very long euphoric reaction to it.

Careful with the dosing though, as tramadol lowers your seizure threshold and can induce serotonin syndrome (especially when combined with SSRI's) And unlike typical opiates, an overdose is caused by monamine uptake inhibition, rather the standard opiate OD symptoms like respiratory depression.

I know you said you are aware of it, but 400mg for myself was really pushing it. I tended to get negative side-effects (like "brain zaps") with doses over 250mg, which was my preferred dose.

And I think oral is the most effective way to take it. In this case, you want the drug to be metabolized into its much more active metabolite, O-desmethyltramadol. Like codeine, P-450 inhibitors actually decrease the effect.

Never as long as you, no, but I do love tramadol just as much. Hell of a drug in my opinion.

I always loved the reject drugs though. Had a big thing for BZP back when you could still find it easily and I haven't heard anything but criticism of it since.

I've never gotten anything from tramadol and only heard bad things about it from others honestly. I do know that it can help with opiate WDs though. Unfornutely, I had a seizure last year and I was diagnosed with epilepsy so I can't really play around with it recreationally (not that I'd want to). I'm glad that it works for you though :)

Tramadol did absolutely nothing for me, even with a low tolerance(10mgs oxy). Congratulations on finding a cheap, easy to obtain drug that rocks your world, don't fuck it up!
