Misc Tramadol and SSRI induced serotonin syndrome??

The other day I got my hands on some 50mg tramadol. I have taken them in the past and enjoyed them pretty well. Never exceded the 400mg per day dose threshold. But I have since been prescribed paxil (SSRI) and was taking it for the 5th day then. Anyways, I took my nightly dose of paxil and took 150mg of tramadol. Waited and hour took another 100mg. I Noticed I felt a little confused,but that passed and I still didn't feel it. So I took one more a half hour later and so I topped out at 300mg total. Shortly after I started to get shaky and couldn't control tremors in my hand and legs. I stood up and started to feel a wierd sensation, I was disoriented and generally confused and felt kinda like fainting. I got a strong metallic taste in my mouth and almost passed out. I ran to the bathroom to vomit any pills I could before they are absorbed. I was not nauseous or anything, just scared. The tremors continued and my pupils were extremely dilated. Idk if what I experienced was a precursor to a seizure but the vomiting seemed to make it better. Anyways I went to sleep and woke up 12 hours later still shaky and pupils dilated. But the wierd feeling have subsided for the most part. Does anybody have any insight as to what went on with me. I thought maybe serotonin syndrome, but am not sure.
