Tramadol and adderall

I need advice. Can I take adderall now?

Yesterday I took throughout the day 60 mg adderall (last dose was 10 mg at 6pm).

Then I wasn’t able to sleep and I took throughout the night 5 zaldiar pills (each contains tramadol 37.5 mg+ paracetamol 325 mg) last pill was around 4am.

Now it’s 10:15am where I am.

I really need something to keep me awake and functioning today, is it ok if I’ll take adderall now? Or is it dangerous?

How long do I need to wait between taking tramadol to adderall?

I am 21 y/o F, I weight about 52kg, height 165.

First of all, welcome to the forums. We're always stoked when we get new folks in the mix. Another source of experiences, skills a personalities. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got!

Onto the matter at hand. Tramadol (Ultram) on a global scale is an extremely popular drug. It's less prevalent in the United States than in other places though. I say this, as I find it surprising that a drug with so many potential negative effects would be chosen over Codeine in these jurisdictions. Anyway, with the proliferation of Tramadol abuse, we have all become aware of the issues people face when using Tramadol.

Tramadol is an Opioid agonist just like Codeine. It is also a fairly potent Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor (SNRI). Some will say these effects are useful in clinical settings, but for folks like us, it's just a problem.

Taking more than 300mg Tramadol in a sitting significantly lowers the seizure threshold. It is not uncommon for chronic Tramadol abusers to have seizures. 300mg is a bad thing, though we know that addicts are not going to choose being sick over the possibility of a seizure.

Central Nervous System stimulants, like Amphetamine, Methylphenidate (Ritalin; Concerta), Cathinone(s) or Cocaine, tend to also lower the seizure threshold.

So, if you're using too much Tramadol and also taking stimulants, then I would make it a high priority to either stop using Tramadol outright or more realistically, to find a suitable substitute that is not Fentanyl. Do not start using Fentanyl.

If you are trying to find a substitute, I would recommend Methadone, Buprenorphine or perhaps one of these Kratom extracts that I hear everyone talking about. If you're only tolerant to Tramadol, then you should be able to substitute one of these without a ton of discomfort.

To answer your question, yes I find the practice you're describing to be on the risky side. I would advise not taking Tramadol with stimulants if it can be avoided. If you do it this morning, I don't believe it will kill you. I more realistically worry that this practice will continue and within the next couple of weeks, something bad will happen. Do what you have to do to make today work, but immediately start trying to figure out an alternative plan.

Tramadol is not gonna help you sleep, I took tramadol every day for 11 years and it never once aided in sleep, importantly tramadol will interact with the adderal in bad ways, you might get lucky once, you might get unlucky all at once!

You seem to imply you ate 187.5 mg of tramadol over course of the night, tramadol works for hours, though not necessarily for everyone, its a bad combo, very likely to produce a major event in your life! Probably to late by now, but if you got lucky, never forget that you got lucky!

I do the risky thing and end my binges with tramadol for years. The last time without was when it become regulated for few months 4-5 years ago.. I really have spoiled myself to only stop speeding by having ~400mg(my usual dose) and sometimes benzos or phenobarbital too.

To elaborate... I've been using tramadol with paracetamol for almost 10 years. At first I mostly used it sporadically, but the last 3-4 years regularly.
For me it's a good anti-depressant and it works immediately. I've been prescribed only tianeptine(Coaxil), as I'm from Bulgaria and the majority of psychiatrists got their diplomas using speed. The effects of Coaxil were negligible and as I stopped cold turkey the depression returned much stronger and lasted two months. I also tend to abuse it with benzos and at least 400mg. tramadol afterwards.

The most important thing is that when I'm on amphetamine, there is no tramadol withdrawal at all! Also I tend to increase the dose to 600mg and takke it twice a day when abusing it for months . Because of that I did physical blood test(too much paracetamol). However my health is fine. Only the cholesterol is a litle above the normal, but it was a result of my diet the previous days(said my doctor). The liver fortunately is fine.

Please have in consideration that every person is different. I have extremely fasr metabolism. Also after the test I began to walk everyday(5-10km). The doses I take (1200mg daily is very dangerous). Now im on ~500mg and will lower it to 400mg. once a day. At the moment I prefer not to take speed, as I don't play poker for now. Line or two with my ftiends and only few times monthly is OK for me. Tramadol also helps with the amph cravings , so I don't want to stop. It is so easy available and cheap here in the pharmacies and given freely as they do with medicines containing codeine. Also they dom't ask for prescription for a medicine with phenobarbital and 200mg cost approximately as a cup of coffee. The temptation is too much.
