I need to get a lithium blood level, doctor's orders. I can go anywhere to have it drawn, but I don't want them to report back to him the needle track-marks they find on my arms. Is this a risk?

I live in NY state, USA.

in my experience they send you to a nurse in the basement or something and they don't usually report track marks

Due to Dr/Patient confidentiality I do not think they will report to your other doctor that you have track marks. It is irrelevant in regards to lithium treatment, so they should not say anything to your other Dr. about the situation.

This thread is not related to harm reduction in the slightest. Please review the other drugs forum guidelines and posting standards, located in my signature.
