does anyone know the total effects that meth has on your body? i mean i know a couple of things but i was wondering the exact damage it causes and to what.

Well, I;m not sure completely, but heres a little of what I heard
Your nasal cavity, snorting anything is bad for that. Ever get a k-trail or a roadblock? yechh
A friend of mine became a daily user of meth, she started looking like utter poo. She had to go to the hospital for chest pains. They asked her is she did coke or meth, she said no, but they went on to tell her that meth users can get chest pains. (She looked real bad)
I'm unsure of this one, this is one I found out when I used to be a multiple times a day k user, but sometimes you feel short of breath after doing a lot of powder/dust/nose drugs, I was told what you snort sometimes takes up a little space in your lungs? Not as much air intake the next day or somewhat.
Mentally your going a little faster, I find personally that effect to be the most unsettling, as I'm normally pretty happy right whre I am

and If I get speeded up, I wouldn't know how psychologically that would effect me other than paranoia
I dunno, just a few thoughts

You can use meth pretty regularly if you takecare of your self (eat, sleep regularly) and not look as bad as his friend. Meth dosages are usualy pretty low so you wont really get clogged up, plus if your doing glass it wont be all full of nasty cut either. It speeds up the body and mind, like the person above said. However, with most people it improves concentration, focus, and ability to think clearly. WHICH IS A NICE FEELING. It doesn't make your thoughts rush a million miles a second, rather, it will slow them down and make it easier to focus on one thing. The exception to this is if you do too much meth, then your thoughts can become quite clouded.

This is such a coincidence.i was reading a recent issue of 'new scientist'this afternoon and started an article about a study on meth addicts, and results of tests done on long term users after theyve quit.
Needless to say the prognosis wasnt good news for the addicts.as i only skipped thru i cant tell you any details, but the conclusion was that long term use caused brain damage with early development of Parkinsons desease.

It's a drug you just have to watch yourself on... get plenty of sleep, eat like a human, take care of yourself - the only damage that comes from the occasional weekend use is mild depression and a sore nose (if you snort it) .. other then that, it's safe... as for the scientific studies - you make it sound like the casual user will subcome to all this horrible shit and shake like Michael J. Fox - it takes work to become a meth addict, and I would imagine many of the junkies in their study used a lot of other drugs as well...
Some people are on (oral) methamphetamines from the time they are 5 till 20 -they certinly don't seem to be at risk... that shows that ones LIFESTYLE is a key mitigating factor on the "damage" caused by use of the drug...

Yeah, I agree completly that really it comes down to lifestyle. It used to fuck me over totally,THEN I clicked on to the fact that you've just got to FORCE yourself to sleep & eat. After a while It gets easier, these days after a binge I take care of myself & I'm fine.Infact I take alot of drugs & I'm very healthy.I take echinacea, that compliments a lot of meth use, I swear by the stuff.

im a pretty regular meth user so i know the things like shortness of breath, chest pains and things like that. maybe i worded the other post wrong, i dunno. but what i meant to ask was what exactly does it do to the inside of your body?
