I apologize if this post was made under the wrong category, but I'm new to the site and was desperate for guidance/information. The following story is about my dog who had recently gone to a concert and has no idea how to react to his situation. This past Friday, my dog attended a musical festival with 2 of his friends. They pre-gamed with alcohol and cannabis. During one of the sets, my dogs friend had an urge to buy molly off someone at the event. By this point, my dog was too intoxicated to make intelligent decisions and therefore was sucked into the idea of doing this so called "molly". My dogs friend supposedly bought 2 grams of this said "molly" and we divided evenly (.6 for each). My dog ingested the so called "molly" and started to feel the effects of it within 5-10 minutes. First of, I would like to clarify that my dog has never done anything crazy besides for shrooms and HBW seeds. My dog is a sponsored athlete who trains 1.5 hours regularly and never abused a substance before. My dog experienced vivid hallucinations followed by psychotic behavior. My dog felt as though everyone was after him and saw demons creeping up on him. The severe paranoia and disconnectedness lasted for about 1.5-3 hours. Now here is the catch, there was a bit of residue in the bag, which a local dealer later identified as Bath Salts/MDPV. My dog's friends didn't experience hallucinations as bad as he did, but he figured this was due to an empty stomach. It has been almost 4 full days since my dog consumed the salts and a couple of things are still bothering him. First off, my dog has done a lot of research following his experience and is aware that the dosage he took was extreme and maybe even a bit unbelievable to some of you. To the best of his knowledge it was most likely cut in that case. Anyways, my dog has been experiencing sleep deprivation (being able to sleep sporadically for short periods of time), shaking, mild fevers, anxiety, flashbacks, muscle spasms, and acidy mouth. Fortunately, he is not suffering from memory loss, depression, disconnectedness, or paranoia any longer. He has actually been watching movies to pass the time as well as producing electronic music. My dog has also been participating in the following: taking vitamin c, drinking plenty of water, green salads, blueberry/super food shakes, high protein, omega-3, multivitamins, and meditation. He went to school today and scored a 100 on his french test, which would indicate that no EXTREME brain damage was done. My dog's biggest concerns at the moment are anxiety, constant clenching of his teeth, and inability to sleep. I guess my question to you guys is:

Although my dog took an abusive dosage, does it seem as though he will be alright?
If so, when will he be able to get some sleep as he did prior to taking the drug?
Should he go to the doctor's?
Should he keep doing what he is already doing?
And for those of you who have overdosed as well. What are your long term effects? Were you eventually able to go back to yourself?
Is my dog just over-reacting and should he just wait for symptoms to subside before taking benadryl as a sleeping aid?

Take note that my dog did not binge. It was just a single-exaggerated dose. My dog also went to his daily martial arts class the past two days and performed the same as usual (submitted everyone and had no problems with his performance besides fatigue). My dog didn't attend class today because the sleep deprivation is finally catching up to him. My dog says he feels completely fine in regards to motor skills, its just these tweakish/crackhead-esque symptoms that are bothering him. Also, any additional information is appreciated.

P.S. SORRY FOR LENGTH OF POST. BUT FOR THOSE OF WHO YOU TAKE THE TIME TO HELP, THANK YOU!!

Also, I would like to state that my dog does experience flashbacks at night and gets fevers associated with my mild diarrhea in the mornings. These have been going on for 4 days, is this not plenty of time for the human body to get rid of these toxins? Also, what are your opinions on detox kits and fasts in order to get rid of broken chemicals and extra neurotoxins?

It sounds like 95%, if not 100%, of your symptoms could be attributed to post-anxiety. The first (and only) time I took LSD it was hellishly traumatic and I was in fear that I would never be 'normal' again, enough so I had the insomnia and anxiety you speak of.
The flashbacks and fever are a bit worrisome though, I would think. In the spirit of harm reduction I suppose it wouldn't hurt to go to the doc and have routine blood work and things done.

ok , thank you. I recently just had a panic attack and had numbness of the whole body. I think I will be going to the doctors soon

Definitely go to the doctor if you are having numbness.. not trying to scare you, but that's serious!

Don't wait till tomorrow either, Make an appointment immediately.

As stubborn as I am, I did not go to the doctors. I let the feelings subside and took benadryl to go to sleep. I woke up feeling fine, but made an appointment tomorrow for noonish. I woke up with a foggy head and a weird urge to clench my teeth. I have no desire to eat food although I forced my self to eat a salmon sandwich. I'm trying to continue on with my daily routine by exercising but whenever I do pull ups I get a weird feeling around my shoulder and neck area ( its not pain, its hard to describe).

I guess what I'm trying to say is, why is the comedown worse than it was one the second day. Sunday, I ate to no end and even hung out with my girlfriend. Could this be damage to the CNS? If so, is it permanent? Should I ask my doctor for an mri to determine severity? Like it's weird. I feel like I'm almost healed by my mind as a mental block on it.

I would love to get more feedback and insight on the situation. When I read about other experiences, most people associate permanent damage with psychosis, disturbance of motor skills, etc - things that don't really apply to me at the moment.

As of today it has been close to 5 days since I have OD'd. Does it sound like I'm still coming down, experiencing withdrawal, or have permanently damaged my CNS? I've spoken to a friend and he just thinks that brain is under a lot of stress at the moment, if this is the case what are things I can do to help it recover?

Once again, thank you.

Being 5 days later, I don't see it being coming down or withdrawal. Rather there is something 'wrong' or not, it is obviously causing you some mental distress.

I've afraid no one here knows what you have taken for sure or if it has caused some mid to long term damage. At this point your only choice really is going to the doc. The numbness also makes me more concerned about it, and I wouldn't recommend over exerting yourself with exercise before seeing him.

I know it sucks, but you should probably get to the doc.

i personally think it is just post-anxiety, you say you've never done anything that "crazy" before.
you also say you "od'd" --> took more than you should have, or what your tolerance can handle.

chances are other people took the same batch of "mahl", it's only been a little over 5 days..

>let's say you took a clean substance, you over did it. your brain is depleted and sleep deprivation is not helping.
example: .6 of mdxx for the first time, would leave you depleted, anxious and tired more than likely!!
personally, if you can access benzos, or cannabis (if you feel ok to do so mentally)
take a couple more days to yourself and continue to relax i am sure you'll be fine in a little over a weeks time.
treat yourself as if you have the flu, soup etc

>continue to hydrate (gatorade!), and don't stress yourself. just a lingering anxiety IMO

if you feel a doctor is necessary, do so!
best of luck, happy trails

I'm sorry someone gave you MDPV as Molly because you experience would have been so much different and better if you actually took real MDMA although .6 would have been overkill!

I agree with the others. It is likely post-anxiety but if your body is numb you should just go to the doctor.

Good luck with everything.

if you actually took real although .6 would have been overkill!

just to re-affirm you, .1 of any decent/around town Mdxx is a roll.
you possibly did .6 times that for your first time!

i wouldn't take a random dealers word for said substance to be "bathsalts/mdpv"..

I wouldn't recommend self medicating with benzo's. I went down this road after my traumatic drug experience and ended up the sames problems, only then I had a light benzo habit on top of it.

"molly" . . . Jesus help us all. I've watched my house mates get a 'new type of molly' literally every day or two days for the past month and it's always a mixture of RC's. I think the dealer is testing on them different ratios of methylone:4-mec. I've tried it, and i've seen multiple concoctions. Since they've started, i've watched the girl have a seizure when coming down, i've seen the dude go into keto acidosis which is probably due to serotonin syndrome, and i've seen the girl have a schitzophrenic episode, and mutiple other times i've witnessed psychosis in both of them. Never take 'molly' unless you bought clean looking crystal from the supplier and it tests black instantly on the reagent test.

Most recently i was smoking some meth and they were taking there beloved "molly mixture" (a new kind, of course) and for literally hours they sat completely still and silent in the dark and kept staring into the bedroom door like it was god, then asking "did it just move?" "no... yes? i think it moved" they would get up and check the door and sit back down. BOTH of them were doing this ALL FUCKING NIGHT MAN. This thread just totally reminded me of that, and i suspected at that time that the dealer had discovered MDPV and added a tidbit into his 'MIX'.

Crashing, yeah definitely sounds like RC's. Especially if they were taking adequate amount of the said "molly".

As to everyone, I went to the doctors overnight last night. All my vital organs are ok, now I'm just waiting for the blood screening to see what other lovely chemicals were in there. My hearts normal, and after speaking to the unit's psychiatrist/psychologist we narrowed my symptoms down to chronic-anxiety, or as everyone else noted "post-anxiety".

If anyone else has recently OD'd on RC's such as MDPV/Bath Salts and are reading this: do yourself a favor and go to the doctors. I think the paranoia from this substance fucks up with your mind more psychological than it does physical, leaving even the most experienced drug users suffering without answers. The paranoia from this substance would leave most users questioning their state of being, thus causing them to be overly anxious. The anxiety then leads to sleep deprivation, which inevitably causes psychosis and other withdrawal-esque symptoms. The fact that my bdy (physically) is ok definitely has me more relaxed, and I was prescribed Valium as a sleeping aid ( it helped somewhat).

But take into consideration that my results may not necessarily be your results, as I didn't experience any severe psychological damage as in: memory loss, delirium, depression (besides being overly disappointed in myself), affected EPMs, and slurring of speech. If you are experiencing this- Please inform your doctor or make a trip to the ER. You could have damaged/fatigued your CNS.

Another thing, if you happen to come across this page because your curious about taking RC's and your researching how to take them safely I'd advise anyone prone to anxiety to stay away. I was always a nerve-wreck and that definitely had something to do with how I felt after taking the drug. Although the amount I took was absurd, remember that everyone's body copes with stimulants different ways. The doctor told me that I was lucky to have had a conditioned heart that was used to being under outrageous amounts of stress and high BPMs, that I couldn't had a cardiac arrest if otherwise.

If you still want to take this drug despite the experiences you read on here: be safe. Take a test bump to see if you aren't allergic or have other reactions to the chemical. Then wait 40 minutes - 1 hour before taking a key bump. I would not suggest taking more than 3 mg -7mg per night, and keep bumps at 2 mg (even though I do not advise taking this drug to begin with). I'm sure this drug does have some benefits at very low dosages, because I remember coming down from it and having a Ritalin-esque focus from it, but none of its benefits outway the comedown or the potential addiction.

After reading into it, I also found out that Bath Salts and said pure RC's could be cut with poisonous chemicals such as lidocaine and de-worming agents (much like that cocaine crisis). It would help to test your chemicals (if you're set on taking them) before consuming them. If you're like me and took RC's thinking that it was a different chemical, go to your doctors and get examined. How would you have known this? Well did the effects from the drug you bought resemble the drug you wanted to take? If you have never taken the drug you wanted to take, and are free-balling it - perform the same procedures: test bump it and wait for the effects. Get a second opinion on your chemical, don't be stubborn like me and just take your friends word on it.

This is all I have to say in regards to safety with taking this specific chemical. I don't want anyone experiencing what I experienced or worst. People who say things like "your the reason why RC's get banned" are ignorant, and have no idea of the consequences from ODing. If you're taking this as a legal alternative (even though I'm sure it's not legal anymore) don't. Take the real thing or smoke some cannabis, and be happy if the worst thing that happens to you is getting caught and fined for the possession of illegal substances because these RC's are no joke. They are highly addictive and are extremely unhealthy (even in low dosages over a period of time).

The prior information is a collection of facts I received from various doctors, online documentation, and experiences (as well as my own experience). If you're reading this and you have already taken the drug- remember to drink lots of fluids, proteins, vitamin C, omega-3, blueberries, passionflower juice (i found that this helped with the anxiety a bit) in combination with chamomile tea, and greens. Keep your body in shape and stay mentally active: do crossword puzzles, write with opposite hand, memorize random facts. This will keep your mind in shape because someone stated this before and its true: you'll heal from trauma even if it takes days, weeks, or years, but your mind has the power to override any drug or symptom.

Please pass this around to keep our fellow members safe from potential OD. Thank you to everyone on here who has helped me!! You guys are the best.
