too much resin! weed question...

i have a metal pipe which i use several times a day, and it builds up resin like crazy, but i dont have time to clean it out after i use it each time, and the resin keeps building up until the hole gets really small and i have to really work at it to clean it out...i wanted to know if anybody knew of a good way to get resin off their pipe, like if theres something i can soak it in, or if i should just burn it off and shit...i usually use a paper-clip, just straighten it out and slide it through the pipe and clean it out like that, but im at the point now where i have to do that like every time i smoke, so if anybody's has some tips on cleaning out pipes, theyd be appreciated...thanks!

Well when i used to smoke pot, the resin didnt build up that fast but i would usually use a paper clip like you, but my friend has told me you can put the pipe in water and boil it out and it should do the trick im in no way advocating this, seeing as how it will prolly crack a glass pipe
Can anyone confirm this?
You can also buy pipes that are designed easy to clean

Soak it in rubbing alcohol or buy one of the pipe-cleaning-brews at your local headshop. or do a search and find that this question has been answered 34587934905734 times.

i've found that 5 minute polident or any other denture cleaner works pretty well to clean out my glass piece. i usually let it sit in hot water with the polident overnight and then most of the resin just rinses out with hot water. don't know how well this works on metal pipes, but i don't see why it wouldn't....
