Tolerance Vs. Going on Methadone

My apologies if this post / question does not belong here .

Anyway, I am a long time iv user..my DOC is Dilaudid (always iv)...if I cannot get dilaudid then I go for the hydros, old oxys, heroin ..you know the deal, basically any other opiate that wont allow me to be sick. But now since the year of using have really taken its toll on me..I dont really get high anymore..I mean I can iv ,4 of the 8mg pills and just only get a little rush..and it deem only to get worse my tolerance ... and doing anymore than 4 of the 8 mg pills imo would only be dumb cause iving pills is dumb to begin with..all that powder is not good!

So my question is..should I just chalk this up ad a lose? and go on methadone now? honestly i know im chasing something that will never come back there...that magical BANG RUSH THAT HITS U IN YOUR FACE..I will never be able to feel that again. What would you guys do??

My iv dilaudid run was one of the worst times of my life.
High intensity short duration an barely any noticable effects after the rush make for a shit combo especially when trying to sustain a habit.

Methadone on the other hand helped me get off opiates for a while now. Guess I'm not sure what your wanting out of the mdone.

Tolerance is tolerance only way to work around it is breaks from using and lowering your dosage.
Like you said I wouldn't expect anything to crazy especially if we are talkin a couple days/weeks vs. Years of use.
