So I see you're quitting high school, getting your GED, and going straight to community college. Sounds like a decent plan, considering how the high school administration didn't do shit for you. I hope thet you better follow through. Mom, Dad, and myself have been disappointed with your actions as of late. You just promise and promise and promise, yet you never live up to your words, even though I know you try.
If only I could make you see how futile it is to hold up an image. Just be yourself. Don't be what others want you to be. You're giving up too much of yourself to please all of your friends. You've made many mistakes in your life just because you wanted to make your friends happy. Set the foot down! As selfish as it sounds, this is YOUR life! You come first!!
18 years. That's how long you've been in my life, lil bro. Sure I'm 22 months older than you, but we grew up and were raised together for the majority of our lifes. We're twins at heart. Hell, we didn't have our own separate bedrooms until about three years ago.
I remember back when we shared a room, we'd talk ourselves to sleep about life, and it'd help us go through the next day. Now we're separate, the talks are gone, and I feel as if you're losing your grip.
Don't worry Gabe. Your big brother's always here. I know Mom and Dad are on the brink of throwing in the towel. As hopeful as they try to appear, they feel as if you won't make it. Not me.
