Tips for killing an adderall high/reducing the side affects?

I took 30 mg of adderall last night, around 10. I wanted to stay up all night and I certainly got that, but now its 10 am and I still feel the high. Honestly, killing the high isn't as big of a deal as getting rid of the dry mouth, its a killer right now. I've been drinking an obscene amount of water and it works while I'm drinking, but doesn't do anything to actually relieve my symptoms. So 1. Would killing the high rid me of this annoying side effect? 2. Is there anything I can do (besides drinking water) to get rid of the cotton mouth? And 3. Am I going to crash in like two hours? This is the highest dosage I've ever taken, I usually take 20 mg and feel no euphoria but it keeps me up. How long do I have to wait for this to stop? I'm considering taking some downers (xanax) to try and kill this, but I read on a different forum that it won't even work and I don't want to waste something that I actually use for medicinal purposes.

lol the downsides of Adderall abuse, you'll find on higher doses you'll be awake at least a day normally forced to stay awake the next day as well because of work/school ...... i used to take at least 2 or 3 30mg adderalls per use, so id be rocked for the whole day and normally id have to use again the second day because i did not sleep the night before. I find if the beads are crushed than sniffed the high wont last as long, unfortunately it also wont be as strong though

Whoever told you that xanax won't work is wrong, it definetly will. Alprazolam is a great stimulant killer, you should be able to sleep pretty easily. Try 2mg, but if your still not quite there yet go for 4.

The dry mouth is a bitch, and coming down is just about the only thing that will help the vasoconstriction that's mostly causing this symptom. Also you can pick up some biotene mouthwash if you plan on doing this again. good on you for drinking lots of water; that will help, as well as some benzos (4mg is a pretty high dose of Xanax so like biguy said I would start with 1 or 2 and see if that works first).
