Timed Locks for Addiction Control - Controversial

Whilst unknowingly slipping into an addiction of an unnamed but notoriously addictive RC, I had an idea. There needs to exist ao small (5"x5" max), portable, and cheap safe that has a combination lock as well as a timer. It would have no failsafe other than the last resort of a miter saw. With it, one can place up to 125 cu in of whatever material they want in it, place a sober and rational amount of time on it, and then lock it in the unseen, almost nonexistent abyss. Quite an important place, as many strange phenomena occur there (any unseen abyss) , like cats being both living and dead at the same time. Then, when Friday night comes, you will reap the benefit of the restraint that was forcefully sown earlier, and the gates of euphoric organic chemistry will be opened, the fountain of dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibition will flow. And kids of all races will unite and splash in it together. Damn.... alright, I've got to bottom-line this right now. I'm wondering if anyone has heard of such a thing existing at all.

Now we come upon the moral quandary: If one does not have the restraint to resist a substance that's literally within arms reach all the time, should they even be messing with that at all until they have more self-resolution? I believe that for certain compulsive, yet intelligent personalities like mine, that would be beneficial because the subject would be able to enjoy fresh motivation, which he has lacked his whole life, but on a very controlled regimen. That's the only way I operate.

Aside from that this device could also be used for myriad things like money, credit cards, car keys before intoxication, etc.

Does anyone know of this product, or can anyone think if another solution with similar effect? I fancied for a moment to simply put it in something that takes a decent amount of time to breach, like put it in a cigarette box and wrap it in a ton of duct tape. I also thought of hiding it inside something and pawning it, so that I would have to drive 30 minutes to have my product back. However I really just need to install a solid NO-NO between me and the constricting talons of the cheap and so abundant RC's.
 
They have that. It's called the rx locker or some shit, has a lock but no timer. Y don't u invent one and get rich.

But I mean you could just give it to a trusted source to hold for you, or practice some will power.

And why the fuck would you hide drugs in something your pawning with all your contact information connected to it?

However you could just hide it while high on a bunch of xanax, then in the morning when you don't remember anything you can spend the next week looking for it

Timesafes do exists. They use it in stores to keep their hard earned cash from falling to criminals. They work so that when you insert the code the timer activates and opens the lock for example within an half hour. And as they clearly states on the door that money is kept on timesafes it reduces the criminals to urge and rob the store as they would only get the money in cash registers as it would take a quite good criminal for being calm for the time needed to get the safe open even if they force the staff to enter the security code. Also they could not keep the situation in their control without some client noticing what is going on and calling the cops.

i got a combo safe with a real hard lock to pick, i gave my brother my shit the key and let him set the combo, and was like lock em up , dole em out and we'll taper down,

i tired picking the lock
got into the safe a few times when he was sloppy
when i couldnt get in the safe i
made some calls
i skeemed scammed , all sorts of shit

the stupid thing is i want off this shit,

if you are not dedicated your brain will find ways around it all

found it somewhere else around a drug forum, maybe even here...but this we remembered me of thee need to have it at home for more safety 8)
 
I found that losing my safe keys was a great way to quit diazepam after a slow taper when it was time to quit, but my mind didn't want to let go of it.
 
Your addiction is deep seated and cannot be controlled with a time safe IMO. A better solution would be to actually get professional help.

I hate walking by the pain meds all day and end up taking too much.

I mentioned this years ago here and I got nothing but people negging me and calling me names for it. I personally would think it was a great idea -

Another option bulk Heroin and dispense 1-2 hits every 2 week.

I am considering one definitely. It;s like going a pharmacy each day for methadone - stops you binging, unless you are real despirate then you have a set of keys.
 
Yeah, I prefer the idea of a small implant that would be connected to your veinous system, which you could press down on, and have the drugs delivered into your system, but there would be a limit to how frequently you could administer, and you could adjust it as well. Say the implant contained cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine etc.. Well, I would program it to only allow me to have five doses of dope a day, each one to be administered no less than three hours apart. For the cocaine I would program this "chip" to dose myself four times in one hour, but only allow myself this privilege two times a day.

Amd if I felt like this frequency was too much, or I had to take a break from a certain drug, I would then set it so I couldn't use say, "cocaine" for X ammount of days.
 
Timed safe is pointless for drugs because if you are addicted you can simply take out everything in the safe when it opens or call a locksmith inbetween to open it. If you are desperate you can smash or cut it open.

If I had 100 bags of heroin in a timed safe and it would only open once a day so I could take two, I would take it all. Or if I was in withdrawal I would be going at it with a saws-all or a cutting torch.

You might break it? Are you sure you want to throw away 200$. If you think you would break it (it's not easy, you won't be able to do it on your own) well this wouln't help you.

Trust me it changed my life. I didn't want to stop, I just wanted to control it.
 
I like the idea - It could potentially help a lot of people. (Probably not full blown addicts, as Guida pointed out, but rather people with little to no willpower)

When I was addicted to smack, I bought 7 grams of it once, to attempt to reduce the amount of travelling I did to go and cop. I was thinking it'd last me a couple of weeks.

4 days later was when I realised that I was a junkie. Fun few days tho.
 
apparently they dont know how determined an activated addict can be.. things i have tried along these lines.. keeping my stash in a safety deposit box for a once daily hit.. I know how many outfit the banker wares and the names of her children and grandchildren, what kind of coffee she drinks, used to bring it to her as i was there first thing in the morning.. oh and this pathetic experiment only lasted one week.. utter nonsense.. i tried keeping my stash in a storage locker that you where only allowed into at certain times, ahh.. well that didn't work but i'm not going to go into why, fkn mission impossible shit.. and if they do come up with something like this it better be floor mounted and resistant to everything i can buy at grainger.. oh and what do i look all my money in there as well.. so i just sit outside a locked safe with no cell phone and no money.. hmmm so many holes and there would be one more in that lock or I would just decide that this is insane and never put my shit back in.. oh i will just lock it up after this hit.. ok after this one..
