yo so i’m 3 tabs in on my mate’s rooftop in melbs
sunset’s doing this mango-sherbet spill across the sky
everything's vibrating but like... politely
lou’s next to me, barefoot, laughing at a magpie that hasn’t moved in 10 mins
says “mushrooms and stars are cousins”
and for some reason i get it
like yeah
i swear the clouds are breathing
someone’s speaker down the street is playing Tame Impala or it might just be in my head
third hit was perfect
not too much
not too little
just enough to make the sky feel like it knows my name
