Thinking of starting ped, any advice?

I have low testosterone due to opioid use and there's no chance of getting off opioids any time soon. My libido is perfectly fine, I can have sex with my girlfriend with no issues. But the symptom I seem to have is weight gain, I'm 250-260 lbs but about 200lbs of that is muscle, bone, etc. I have a hard time losing weight. I work out 3-4 times a week for 1-2 hours. During the summer I go outside and walk around and bike for at least one hour a day. I normally gain some weight over winter but I was like 235 last year and this year I'm 250-260 so it just keeps going up and never going down despite being more physically active then my girlfriend she's actually losing weight without doing any physical activity... It's very frustrating and I'm tempted to start trt with my doctor and if that's not enough I'm desperate enough to try something else. My diet also consists predominantly of fruits and meat. Id say 80% is fruit meat and dairy and the other 20 is veges grains etc. If anybody has had similar experiences and can share what helped them I'd really appreciate it.
 
I also only eat refined sugar once or twice a week. I have like a cheat day or two sometimes depending how my emotions are. But when I'm not eating refined sugars I only eat sugar from fruits, dairy and honey.
 
Even just eating too much fruit and honey can make you fat. I’d try to really cut down on the carbs though I know it can be difficult because opioids give one a sweet tooth. I’d also recommend intermittent fasting to help rev your metabolism - I’ve had the best results with fasting for 36 hours followed by 12 hours of eating but another method that works well and isn’t as extreme is just eating one meal a day. IF and cutting carbs will really help with your hormone levels overall too. How low is your testosterone exactly?
 
80% Fruit/ Meat/ Dairy :oops: that could be a lot of Sugar s.
Not the Meat. What ratio do you take this 80%:
like .. % Fruit and ... % Meat ... % Dairy ?
What Dairy ? Butter and Cheese contain little Lactose [Sugar],
Ghee/ Clarified Butter none, but do contain good Fats.
Like Coconut Fats, always extra-Virgin, don t have em fool you.
Extra-Virgin Olive oil, the deodorised version is essentially Lamp-Oil.

Well if you are talking about Fruit,
our Western cross-bred especial for sweetness.
Contain loads of sugar. Fructose being the worst,
as it can cause non- alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.

Glucose, is the sugar the body/ brain needs. Sugar is 50/ 50.
Excepting the low sugar content high in anti-Oxidant s fruit s,
Like Black, Rasp, Goji Berry, though Strawberry s are pretty sweet.
Must be lots of low sugar fruits.

Also non-digestible sugars are beneficial, for your gut-Microbiome.
Insuline/ Cichorei, Jeruzalem Artichoke s a.o., Beta-Glucanen/ Oats.
And there are many more, all Pre-Biotic s
[food for friendly inhabitants of the gut] and also anti-oxidants.

Dairy, well in Nature only little Baby animals drink it. Contains also
sugar/ Lactose. But can t eat it any way myself,
Milk Proteïne intolerant/ allergic as baby.

They forgot how to Breastfed in the Hospitals att.
So when the mother stopped lactating

It stops, and Cow-milk powder it was.
Or not as it came out harder then it went in :barf:

Btw i am on on the other side of the train, to skinny. Prone to loose weight.
Could be a very Muscular type as i have no more then 10 % body fat,
but due to setback s quite inactive atm. So muscles disappeared too.

Ever considered going a bit toward Ketogenic. So living on Essential Fats.
Extra-Virgin ed and Proteins. From Meat, Fish, Nuts. Also deliver good Fat s.
Only a 20/ 50 gr Carbohydrates/ a day, in perspective that s 20 gram of sugar.

Made me re-evaluate my mental physical state, as people on the diet.
Not only can control Epilepsie without Med s, and positive on Diabetic
Same time it also seemed to improve; ADHD, other mental issues.

Lift Brain-fog, more energy, lifts depression, and so on.

When looking to reduce excess weight/body fat composition, diet should be your main focus.
Fructose from fruit generally isn't a problem as it's bound to fibre, honey can be ok but in moderation.
Look into employing a keto style diet, incorporating some intermittent fasting a couple of days a week.
If you're serious about losing weight, and keeping healthy do not consume processed/junk fast food, or indeed anything that comes in a packet with multiple ingredients and additives..
