I found my happiness
I found my joy
But just as quickly as I have found it
It is all crumbling away
My own home is breaking down at the foundations
My family tearing in half
Neither side can accept what I have found
Nor can they see that there's more to me than my stance in the family
My world is crumbling at its foundations
I've fought this battle for the past six years

i really like this one - and i can relate to what you're going through - crap with family... its like you feel obligated to love 'em and get along with 'em just cause they're family... its hard though living up to others standards sometimes... good post

You don't understand too well. My family is all at odds with each other, and they all feel that with me on their side, they have the advantage. I'm a person goddamnit, not a tool for victory that taken for granted when it doesn't matter.
I've fought a long and tiring battle to keep my home and family together, but I'm not God, I'm only human and I can't work miracles. Everything is falling apart around me and I am throwing in the towel. I'm too tired and weakened to fight any longer. Sometimes, battles are not only about when to stand your ground, but also when to retreat.

sweetie, I know you are having a hard time right now. I wish i could be there more for you.
I know you love all your family and with them being at odds is so hard for you.
But you need to remember your own words
you are just a person and as wonderful and giving you are. You can not solve there problems now. Sometimes you have to stay neutural to be the winner in this.
I miss you very much you know i am there for you no matter what.
