Technical Problem The search function does not work for me

Hi,

When I search, no hits are displayed. Its either "sry, no results found" or it redirects me back to the same page. I've red the FAQ and checked over and over, am I doing it wrong? I mean, it's not that difficult right? :P

The search function in the top center of the page is... 'faulty'. Try the Search Box or 'Advanced Search' (directly underneath) in the upper right hand side of your screen and let us know how you made out
 
And can I ask a dumb question on the same topic?

When using advanced search, is there now no way of searching an individual forum rather than 'all posts'? Or am I missing something?
 
^ Yes, there is. When in the advanced search, you will see two tabs. "Search Single Content Type" and "Search Multiple Content Type." When clicking on the former of the two, you will then see additional options below it, which has a section where you can select the forum(s) to search within.
