Film The Runaways

Aside from being into their classic, Cherry Bomb, I never really got too heavily into The Runaways. But I've always had muchos respect for Joan Jett and everything she's stood for. So naturally, I had a passing interest in this film. And the fact that Jett herself had some involvement in the whole thing, makes me look at it as being a bit more than something thrown together for the sake of doing yet another biopic.

Anyway, Dakota Fanning, all grown up. It's too weird for me to except right now. Seems just like yesterday she was only eight and doing movies all over the place. I could never really tolerate her too much tbh. But Kristen Stewart definitely rouses some interest in me. Pheeeew. :D

I am super interested. I know Dakota will do a fantastic job, but I'm a bit iffy about Kristen Stewart portraying Joan Jett in all her (kristen's) stuttering, blinking, mulleted glory. (Although they did get the look down pat!)

If she pulls this off, I'll have respect for her as an actress!!
