the pipe-bong

hey guys just a quick question the bowl of my bong broke but i still got my trusty pipe sky. before i can get it fixed, is it possible for me to just hold the mouthpiece of the pipe up to the hole in the bong and hit it like that? if so, would it give me more of a pipe high or a bong high? i would tell you what it does but ive been dry these past couple of days, but no worries, ill report back . i hope this makes sense?:P
 
wait- your bowl or downstem broke? If it's just your bowl, you can make a makeshift one with tinfoil pretty easily... holding the pipe against it would probably suck - the high would be as good as your cannabis and as good as how much smoke per hit your getting.
 
keep things simple just use the piece. when trying to put a bowl with a bong, air leaks a lot, very inefficient and too much hassle
 
yeah it's pretty easy to temporarily fix the solution. Pick one or the other, the bowl won't seal up against the bong the way your slide is designed to. If you smoke the bong it will be like smoking a bong. If you smoke your bowl it will be like smoking a bowl. Pretty simple. I'd just smoke the bowl for now till you can buy another slide for your bong it's really not the end of the world. I rarely use the bong any more anyway, it all still gets you baked.
