Where are you taking your SO for Valentine's day? Or where would you want to be taken to ideally? What sort of special gift(s) would you like to receive/give? Do you put alot of weight on the holiday? Do you have a spending limit?

Umm let's see, my fiancé and I are going to a nice restaurant for lunch but that's it and it's more than enough for me really :) I don't really care about Valentine's Day at all but I won't complain about the excuse for a nice meal...would hate to be given a present or card though.

How bout you Lost Ego?
 
My SO and I are a relatively new couple and so I want to get her something special and do something we haven't yet. I know I want to write her a card and get her something special along with it. no idea what else yet and idk where to take her yet o.o

I'd make sure she's into the idea of Valentine Day before doing anything too extravagant, have the two of you spoken about it?
 
^Yes I have and when it comes to her there's no such thing as over doing it. I wanna do something fun but romantic. I was thinking about going out to the city but that's just so far..

But enough about me. Pagey what sort of restaurant is he taking you to? And why would you hate it if he got you something?

Why not take her to her favourite place (you said nothing is too extravagant, but there would be reasonable limits based on budget obviously). Try to avoid the Valentines clichés like expensive dinner, flowers and chocolates and get her something personalized (picnic at her favourite place with her favourite foods would work)

I don't have a Valentines this year, and even if I did it falls a week before my birthday so I never do anything for it (I usually spend my birthday making it all about my partner because I don't celebrate that myself)
 
I was going to to propose to the love of my life in front of the Egyptian Pyramids this Valentine's.

As for Valentine's Day, it's two days after my boyfriend's birthday. He hates celebrating events/holidays/birthdays/everything and he hates gifts so I will get him a card and a few chocolates or something like that, nothing much. We are probably going to hang out that night because we're going partying the next night. It'll be like his birthday / Valentine's Day type thing. I'm not really into Valentine's Day either although I've always wanted one of those bears that say "I love you" or whatever. I dunno. They are cute. I've never gotten one. I really like bears and I wouldn't mind one for any occasion. lol

My boyfriend is being released from prison at 8 AM on valentines day!

I am taking off of work and we are going to a diff city and getting a hotel on the plaza for the weekend.

I could not be more excited!

I have been exercising and eating clean like a maniac to get my body looking tight and perfect for him and I am getting my hair done this wednesday.

I am sooooooooooo ready to see my babe! I have not been able to see him as I am not allowed to visit dept of corrections, so I cannot wait!
 
My friend and I are going to a valentines themed electronic music show! I also am sending a special poem to my ex who's out in Australia right now, hopefully I can put a smile on her face!
 
I have a "secret" valentine. Nobody can know about us so i can't get her roses without them going to waste. I'm gonna get her her favorite chocolates, write her a card and i'm getting us matching tongue piercing studs. I'm taking her out to Old town sacramento, a show and dinner. I'm really looking forward to it.
 
This was the first valentines day I tried asking someone to be my valentine. I'm starting to think a "do you want to go out with me sometime?" would have been better but chicks love romantic crap so I gave it a whirl as a sign of my interest instead.

She hasn't responded yet so who knows?
