The Mystery of Who's Updating Rhodium's Chemistry Archives

Several weeks ago I wrote a few emails and made a couple posts here with some pretty specific citations.. days later the archives began having numerous updates regarding each one of the citations I made. The number of additions has only increased over the last week. So now I'm curious, because as I made more posts here.. the archives grew again. Yet none of the mods i talked to here knew anything about this. So now I'm wondering who and could this person have one of the most interesting conversation pieces of all...

Erowid. I've been on all the mirrors too. The info has always existed, the links for them on the page have not. That's why when i posted/emailed I cited the specific references from old hive boards. Each reference was an addition and plus a few more such as references to Bogdal's work etc.

by the way...per your message.. unmodified conventional MW oven. You should know that erowid also has the specifications to modify one if one were to feel they needed a shield in order to allow a condenser to exit through the top..reflux mainly

Okay, so I looked at the Wayback Machine and it is indeed being updated. Strange for a site that's supposed to be a static snapshot.

I suppose it's someone cheeky over at Erowid.

And you can also make meth in a soda pop bottle. That doesn't make it practical, reproducible, safe, or even worth your time at all. Something tells me that commercial MW reactors have a little more process control than a timer and a duty cycle controller.

I've often wondered if Rhodium doesn't run drugs-forum. He once said he worked in IT.

Yep, told you it was being updated. I'm not on hallucinogens lol. Yes yes, I know that Sekio. But this is science, and references will tell you that synthesis discussion is against the rules and will result in your posts turning orange.

Dresden,
I had wondered the same for a few years. Rhodium, of course, I'd prefer to talk to

if you want to make drugs take it somewhere else and no bluelight's PM system is not "somewhere else" ~ atara

Despite whether they say this is safe, you absolutely have to invest in a high quality RF power meter to make sure there isn't any microwave leakage.

was that a synth discussion? learn to fucking read. especially if youre going to go through my PMs. This discussion here was about a process, cited, unmodified. You guys change my words because i proved Sekio wrong? wtf kind of childish ass nerd shit is that? Where in my PMs was there specifics of a synth? wtf. i gave rhodium's archives way more fucking information than was ever discussed in my PMs. There's no synth there, just talk of different starting points. I'm off this gayass board. You can keep this shit. I'll continue my conversations with real chemists. not people who sit around afraid of me saying a few specific things, when there's people on this board talking details about drug use of every different kind. wtf. Enjoy this dead ass board.

I used a household MW for a handful of reactions that just would not work by conventional methods in my undergrad inorganic chem class. I got really good results. I haven't kept up with MW reactors, I'm sure they've come a long way compared to the one I used.

This isn't the board to be discussing synthesis even tangentially. We do in fact have a specific rule against it. Nor is this the thread to be debating whether or not microwave reactions are the next best thing... read the title.

I'm kind of forgiving about this but obviously not everyone is. Luck of the draw. Don't let the door hit you on the way out?
