I use a kitchen torch (the kind you use to burn creme brulee...) to burn the resin out of my glass pipes and bowls... works much better than a bic lighter or trying to scrape them out.

A magnifying glass and sunlight works well also, but its kinda hard to do on a rainy day, at night or inside...

I put down bear traps ( the traps that you step on, and clamp down on your leg) during a cross country race in High school. Needless to say, I won the race, and was the only person left on my team whose leg was broken and didn't have Hepatitis.
