hmm its been a long time i think this is a haiku 7 syllable im nto quite sure tho

Do you know the principle of Haiku poems? My Mum was reading some, and reading about the technique but I have forgotten most of what she told me.
I know that they are 3 lines only but what are the other "rules" to follow?

its 5 syllables for the 1st line, 7 for the 2nd, and 5 again for the 3rd.
