I've been posting this on every response that is remotely related to the title within the past 10 minutes. I can't keep cross posting, so I will just post one thread about this. It's obvious that we are not the only ones with mental problems, depression, addiction, anxiety, whatever... Drugs change your brain and fuck up your life. Therapy and recovery are the answer. Not drugs. Medications prescribed by doctors, such as anti-depressants are to correct the brain's problems and speed up our recovery process, returning our brain back to normal, or bringing it to a normal state (if you were born this way), and allowing us to live normal lives.

This has opened my eyes and shown me a whole new world. It explains so much about why my life has been so fucked up for so long. I would recommend anyone to completely absorb themselves into these links. Buy the book. Stay committed.

I wish I would have listened to those who warned me about staying away from drugs.

Also, I wanted to add, for those who cannot afford therapy or medication, I have found free assistance. I'm sure you can too. Therapists WANT to help us. They send me a bottle of Pristiq every month, for free, as long as I go see my counselor, for FREE, once a month. It's up to you to want to change your life and make those first steps.
