The Genesist Faith?

I saw a fellow on the NORML blog calling himself the "American Genesist", in his comment he made reference to "The Genesist Faith".

After using my search engine of choice to look for "Genesist" "Genesism" "The Genesists" and "Genesist Religion", the only hits I found with websites about the Book of Genesis and articles on Geneticists.

I'm curious if anyone has any information regarding the Genesist Faith.

I think it's referring to Genesis 1:12 "I have given you all the seed-bearing plants and herbs to use" or some such. I'm guessing that the "Genesist faith" is basically just rolling out a single line from the Bible without any kind of context and holding it to be proof that cannabis use is a God-given right. Probably by people who would balk at the idea of stoning homosexuals or painting your house with pigeon blood to get rid of mildew. Sorry if I come across as being dismissive, but I am, it's not any kind of religion or faith at all, it's just a silly justification for recreational drug use.
