In the forgotten ocean,
buried in the drowning tides,
above the scheming undertow,
below the rabid white--
the colliding ebb and flow,
where stolen secrets lie.
In these martian waves,
the blind night hides
the brilliant light of day
from creatures open eyes.
Who cannot see the way,
Nor discern the truth from a lie.
Yet all the while they pray,
But still their soul does die.
Except they then shall say:
I give Him all my life.
buried in the drowning tides,
above the scheming undertow,
below the rabid white--
the colliding ebb and flow,
where stolen secrets lie.
In these martian waves,
the blind night hides
the brilliant light of day
from creatures open eyes.
Who cannot see the way,
Nor discern the truth from a lie.
Yet all the while they pray,
But still their soul does die.
Except they then shall say:
I give Him all my life.
