Film The Big Short

Based off the book written by Michael Lewis. It's been awhile since I've been this excited for a movie release

Definitely worth the wait, Arci. I went in with highish expectations and they were exceeded.

Not only is this movie hilarious and dramatic on its own, but it's probably one of the most important films I've seen in a very long time. For those who are interested in learning the finer details of the financial meltdown and want to laugh their asses off while doing so, this is your film.

It was nice that they were so liberal about breaking the 4th wall. I worked contract for Morgan during the recession and it was a very strange time, an outsider looking in. I think they managed to capture the sheer weirdness of the situation.

Best picture I have seen quite awhile. Love that quote about the end of the world. How did our world get so corrupt.. well who cares really.. how long until we fix this shit.

I thought this was fantastic - I usually don't like Steve Carell but I thought his acting was exceptional in this.

It's interesting the timing of this release and what's currently happening in the financial world this year.
