THC prevents body from full rejuvination potential

OKay so I recall from my psychology course that when alcohol is in your system and you fall asleep your body does not rejuvenate the way it normally would. My teacher also said that this is with any sort of drug, even marijuana. I was curious if anyone could support this or denie it? I am going to a massive this weekend and I want to get as much sleep as possible through out the week. I am also starting up working out again from being a lazy, wow playing stoner from the summer vacation.

BUT i am most concerned with it because I have to drive 4 hours to get to the rave, get a hotel, than nap so i am not tired at night... if i smoke a nice bowl and pass out i think id be fine unless thc causes a lack of rejuvenation.
 
I smoke at night and can wake up fine it all really depends on when you smoke how early you want to wake up and what time you want to go to sleep, weed will make sleep longer than wanted and you will wake up tired, unless you get a nice amount of sleep ,

so smoke early, sleep early wake up early and you should be good

Lol, you will be fine if thats why you posted. You will be rested from your nap.

But yes, pot does prevent "full rejuvenation"... the question is to what degree. Then again, drinking from plastic cups gives you cancer, and so does using cellphones. I mean, for fucks sake, the sun gives you skin cancer, but we deal with it every fucking day anyway. Smoke on.

EDIT: Working out will help tremendously with a lot of things, and you will feel more rested and energetic, as well as more "alpha"... Well, I mean, if you are seriously working out and eating right, that is.
 
I'm sure you would know from personal experience... I personally wake up tired and lethargic for the first half of the next day.
 
Its like everything else. Takes 6 hours for caffeines half life so if you take 100mg 12 hours before bed you still have 25mg, fucks with your sleep. You smoke weed before bed it probably fucks wtih your sleep somehow.

Thats not to say its bad its probably not completely wrong to say that it prevents full rejuvination.
 
Smoking pot supposedly messes with your REM sleep.

When I would smoke herb the only time I ever really "slept" on it was when I ate too much and passed out/blacked out.

Sometimes when I was drunk and I'd smoke I'd fall asleep but this was also rare.

I found that smoking in the day/late afternoon or early evening and then coming down made it easier to sleep.

Exercise does help and drinking green tea/Rooibos (red tea) helped me. YMMV.
 
I usually feel pretty good in the morning once I wake up, usually because I am pretty tired after a day of toking. I feel better when I wake up then if I took some benadryl which makes me just want to lay in bed. The only times it makes me really tired is if I smoked before school at like 7:00 by the time its 3:00 I am pretty tired.
 
when i fall asleep stoned i need a good 10-11 hours of sleep to wake up proper so i try to keep blazing a bit earlier in the day so it doesn't affect sleep
