So i've lived in Colombia for maybe 6 months now, had a quick stint in rehab but I'm fine now. I used to smoke a lot of weed, daily, and got into distillate carts around a year back. I loved them, obviously theres better stuff out there but the fact that it's so convenient and fast makes me love it. Since I've moved here though i've noticed something strange when buying carts, they will offer either "destilados importado" or, "destilados nacional". So imported distillates or nationally made. Now, I've been buying the national ones since they are a hell of a lot cheaper, but I'm still concerned about pesticides and chemicals that aren't supposed to be in the cart. I've asked the national growers before from my source specifically and they say they only use natural pest removers like lady bugs or something im not sure. Anyone here experienced in this, is there a way i could tell, and should i just get the imported ones? (yes the imports are real all the ones i bought where scanned through berify and where real.

I'd definitely go for the product that you think has the most chance of being the real deal, every time

the whole cart/distillate market is super-murky

Columbia has drug manufacturing and trafficking? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry I couldn't resist. Besides would you actually trust their answers?

Hey all, I'm moving this over to Stonerville Junction aka the Bluelight Cannabis Discussion Forum.

You'll probably get better answers over there.

I know Colombia has gotten better. Still, if you think a cartel can't force a dispensary to sell their shit, I think you'd be wrong.

I wouldn't trust their national anything as they are notoriously corrupt in terms of government and bureaucracy. I would not risk itm

I'm not an expert on this, please bear that in mind. The stuff you are buying is highly processed both varieties. The distillation process is meant to remove things other than THC which is going to catch most pesticides. I would be more concerned with low quality solvent use.

Small amount of pesticides can be carried through in distillation, especially if they're similar boiling point

While distillation is great for cleaning it up I would trust a chromatography cleaned product more
