For those of you that have been in love, or are in love. Do you remember that kiss you had, the one that made your stomache tie up in knots, and you just knew that you loved this person? Its a once in a life time thing... well at least for me.. so far *crosses his fingers*
Now before you read what I have writen, remember that I have just started this writing thing. I never was a poet... Hell I never really read books well traditional ones that is 9I like technical manuals *evil grin* )
So here it is....
That Kiss:
I once fell in to her eyes, I saw into her flesh and bones.
The journey was long and beautiful. Every where I looked was worthy of a picture to be hung in the most prestigious gallery in all the universe. Surrounded by magnificently tall willow trees; that seemed to reach to the sky and to the ends of the earth. I found the center of this world. There before me was the most splendid jewel encrusted chest. It was resting between three boulders, standing like sentries.
I knelt down before it, placed my hands atop its lid. The massive shining gold lock broke free, with out even the turn of a key, it fell before me. Near blinding blue light began to seep from the lid of the chest. My eyes winced, and begged me to cover them, my heart over took them, it over took all of me. My heart guided from that moment on. The lid began to lift, my arms lowered, and reached in to the light. A perfectly warm feeling over took my fingers tips. The feeling slowly took over my entire body, exciting every cell and molecule that is my souls vessel.
The object was smooth, it had intelligence, emotion and passion. I lifted the object, it began to take shape. My heart was racing, my soul was screaming to see what I held. The black over took the world.
Our lips slipped away from one another. My pupils dilated grabbing all the light of the world. The wind that filled my lungs rushed from my body, then again to fill back up with the air they craved. I could hear them expand, I could feel them grow inside of me. They were filling with what I had found. That object in the chest, now was a inside of me.
Her eyes opened again. I looked into them, I stood right at the edge this time, trying not to fall in. I peered through the willow trees, and between the rocks. The chest was still aglow. It now is waiting, for its contents to be returned, and sealed. I held my breath; I trapped the air in my lungs.
I will never breath again.
