I unfortunately got some rather suspicious white & green "molly" caps from a friend last night. The powder appears to be very light(fluffy?), and is a dull white. All of the quality molly I've had before seems to be a little more dense and sparkly. Also, it smells a little like pickles.. or pickled something.

A friend is bringing over their test kit tonight.. My question is- how do I test this stuff? I assume just put some powder in with the liquids.. but how much? Do I stir or just leave it alone?

Also, if it the molly is in fact adulterated how do I know what else is in it?

And finally, any guesses as to what might make it smell like pickles??

Put a little powder to the side on a plate or whatever and drop the liquid (tester) onto it. Based off the results you see, you have to interpret according to what you're using to test. I have found with testing molly the reaction is usually quick and strong. I don't stir it usually, but have swirled it around a little to make sure the substance and reagent connected. You can tell usually the adulterants by the color it changes and identify it from the chart. It wont tell you everything because it only tests for certain things. As for the smell maybe he stored it in a pickle jar?

Good to hear and yea never heard of that smell as being common with these maybe ask the person you got them from, but if it bothers you that much send em to me :) j/k...

Enjoy and be safe!
