I don't know if this is the right place, but since EZ Test also sells Ehrlich's reagent it should be fine...
so, I've got some microdots that have been sold a few months ago as LSD and were kept with the stash until recently. Other people bioassaying the same product told
a) no effect/only laughter and tingling (1 dot used)
b) clear psychedelic effect with OEV (2 dot used)e
I decided to test a dot with EZ Test Ehrlich's reagent and what I obtained was a strong fizzing (*) reaction with no colour at the beginning, followed by the reagent turning orange.. not a very bright orange, but a colour I would still definitively call orange.
* but the vial itself was a bit old and for sure everything was above 20°C.
So, help me!
what psychedelic drugs with an active dosage <1 mg could turn Ehrlich's reagent orange? Or could be possibly the reagent be bad?
