Temporarily covering a tattoo

I have a problem that I haven't run into before. I have a client that is going to trial in October. He has a tattoo on his hand that would be very prejudicial, and I need to cover it up for the duration of the trial. I would like something that would hold up well for an entire day, if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Yeah, there are some foundations and concealers (I can't remember the brands) that are able to cover up birthmarks, tattoos, and so on. Or maybe he could just wrap a bandage around his hand and say that he has an injury. :\

you might want to check out Kat Von D's make up. Apparently it can be used to cover up tatties nicely.

from wat i heard her shit dont work that good its just hear say but that was the word on the street.

anyways, there is a certain kind of alcohol solubule body and face paint used in theatrical make up that can do this. It cant be washed off with water, sweat, etc like I said its alcohol soluble only. it comes in solid dry cakes and then u put alcohol on a brush and it turns into a mixable paint makeup. ima look and see if i can get the name of it again, i have a kit of it but the name is wore off. its expensive but its amazing shit, its used professionally in movie make up. i took a class taught by the guy who did Freddie Kreugers makeup and is now The Rocks personal traveling makeup artist, dude taught me so much shit in just two weeks and thats where i learned how to use that stuff. Ima look around a lil and try n find it. It can also be custom mixed like paint so u can get just the right shade from mixin browns whites reds yellows and pinks together. u can layer it on very heavy or use it as a base to put regular make up over. i gotta go to bed now but ill try n come back n help out tomorro
 
i wouldn't risk any makeup on the chance it may rub off. i'd only be at ease with skin tone medical tape, and i'd have the hand covered by the other in a polite gesture or even in his pockets.
 
A heavy cream based stage foundation should do the job and you can buy products to seal the make up down.
Still medical tape is a pretty nifty solution too...
 
There is a medical product that is very thick, I believe it is of German origin-does not rub off, and is totally water proof, you have to remove it by special products the company makes. they have a whole range of products, and a green one which you place over the tattoo and conceils it totally and then use the one which is the same as your skin. Sorry I don't remember their names, but chemists should know, it is a medical product. Otherwise, get a tattoist to tell you
the answer.

What you want is something called Dermacolor.

Where on his hand is the tat, Forgotten?

I do know someone who successfully covered up "FUCK YOU" on her fingers, and later got laser surgery through a program. Perhaps there's something similar.

I have a small back tat that I like to cover at times. Dermablend ALMOST covers it and I'm trying a kit from Sephora soon.

I do know it can be professionally airbrushed.
 
My best friend used the Kat Von D tattoo concealer for her wedding. The tattoo is on her shoulder and it has a thick black outline, you couldn't even tell it was there. She put the concealer in her skin tone on first, then cover up powder and makeup finisher on top.
 
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. ^.

But, I used regular concealer when I had to cover mine up for a day. It actually worked out pretty well. Just something simple like that could help?
