I'm curious to hear what kind of psychiatrists you people have! Good or bad?
I've been meeting a female psychiatrist (probably in her 40s) for anxiety issues. We have tried many different antipsychotics for it - which don't seem to help. Sometimes we rotate the same antipsychotics again. She's really against prescribing benzodiazepines (which have helped me in the past). She'd rather let me suffer from anxiety than to prescribe something like that. Once when she was in a good mood I got a prescription for oxazepam, which didn't really help (even if it's a benzo - probably because it's too weak). I live in hope, that some day I get something that helps and my life doesn't circle around these anxiety issues all the time. I've been thinking of going to another psychiatrist, but that would cost way too much money for me.
What about you?
