Teen 'Potter' star caught with cocaine

Pictures have been published showing Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett, 17, using cocaine.

The actor, who plays bully Vincent Crabbe, is seen apparently sniffing a line of the drug in photos published by The People.

A friend of the star, who took the pictures, told the paper he was increasingly using cocaine and other drugs as well as bringing strippers back to his flat.

"Jamie is spiralling out of control," he revealed. "He takes cocaine almost every time I see him, whether it's at a party at a friend's house or at his own home. He's always chopping out a line.

"I think he uses it to be accepted by people. But with cocaine he's attracting the wrong sort of crowd. Jamie is wild. He told me that he got high at the premiere of the last film, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.

"He said he had about eight grams of cocaine and was 'high as a kite' after sneaking off to the toilets to take it."

Who the hell carries 8 grams? They're just making up numbers and saying they always see him doing lines because it makes for a fantastic story to sell they're b.s. magazine.

If the actor's "friend" is really his press agent, I'd say it's a brilliant move....

The concerned ex-friend fears the troubled young actor is showing signs of drug addiction, adding: "When he hasn't got it he gets panicky. He's paranoid and paces up and down. He gets pretty bad.


"But there is always more money at the end of the phone and he will jump in a cab or get a friend to drive him.


"He's fallen in with a bad crowd and needs help.


"If he carries on like this, he'll end up a useless junkie with no money to brag about."
