How many of you techno guys are going to Welcome 2001? Maybe we should have a special techno lovers meetup.

Nice to see the Techno Lovers baby has reached the grand age of 4. I was around for the end of the first/start of the second, but haven't been on here for a while due to travelling to your country. And I've got to add its a fucking top country and I've only done Sydney. Coming down to Melbourne mid Jan where I shall hope fully be immersed in dirty techno and get away from this hard house Sydney bullshit thats in all the clubs.
Did get to see Space DJ's play in Home they were pretty good. One of them dropped the Dre/Sisquo - Thong Song mix which didn't go down to well.
And the glowstix - fuck the glowstix

A darn nice pumping techno EP I got through the week, Pounding Grooves EP on Global Trax. In my opinion, easily Pounding Grooves' best work that I've ever heard. Rino Cerrone's Massive Compressed EP on Phont Music is pretty impressive as well.
Mr_Audio: I'll be an extremely happy camper if Beyer plays that mad track from Lost & Found EP.

2 days to go now.

Summadayze was well worth the money and sweat
After seeing mr adam beyer and mr joel mull
it shows that techno is going to piss all over the world of music soon
i have no fucking idea why they made them play at such a shit party of the area, it was dusty like fuck, other than that these guys were really impressive

Well thought I would go record shopping at lunchtime, quite productive I must say.

Audio 28 by Strobe. 1 side locked grooves, other side very nice for those likers of more harder techno. Still nice nonetheless, some very warped samples combined as well.
Freaks On Hubbard by DJ Rush (includes the 4 different remixes, bless you Sanity as I've been trying to search this one down for months!). You gotta love that DJ Rush remix!

Jaguar by Rolando (I actually picked up a copy for a laugh, how this track is classed as techno/tech-house is beyond me).
Platform EP by Kay D Smith. Some of the most hardest, fucked up techno brilliance I've heard in a long time. Totally nasty rockin techno!
Burning Angels v1.01 by Headroom, certainly some of the nicest stuff I've ever heard by Headroom (Patrick Skoog is the man!).
