I found this pic looking through my photos the other day -

Rainbow Serpent a couple of years back, driving up you could see this rainbow from ages away, and the light just shining down over the whole festival. It was absolutely amazing.

75 Mile Beach on Fraser Island. I went there on a field trip, and took deep cores of the earth to intepret the change in climate over the past 600,000 years. This beach is amazing - it really is 75 miles long, and you can often seen whales breaching in the ocean.

One of the glasshouse mountains - Mt Beerwah IIRC. We tried to climb it but we were mislead about how easy it was to get up there ;)

Oh man footscrazy, do I ever miss Beerwah. I mean to all the non-Australians who don't know, the town is actually called "Beerwah." That's great :) One of my best friends from my time in Brisbane lived out in Beerwah, and we had plenty of rad parties there. I miss those days. And ya, the Glasshouse Mountains really are somthing else. You have to see them to believe them.
