TDS is a place I'm happy to call home now. I find great comfort within these walls and in the wonderful people that I share it with. I know oftentimes we come here to focus on our negativity and shortcomings but, to me, that's not what this forum is strictly about. It's about finding the light in the darkness and facing our demons and being BETTER, STRONGER and more ENLIGHTENED.
I wanted to start a thread that focuses on the brighter side of the dark side. All the mods here are wonderful and devote their time to making sure we aren't killing ourselves with drugs or due to depression, etc. They are all genuinely concerned with the well-being of members. I just wanted to say thanks and hope that we can all say something about what TDS has done for us...
Me: I wake up everyday and add something I am grateful for in the "Today I am thankful for..." thread. Then I sum up how I feel in one word in the appropriate thread. It is so gratifying to get up and do that and it gives me purpose as well as a positive note to start my day on. I love to share my insight on suffering, chronic pain and drug addiction...all things I am all too familiar with. TDS has been a place I feel I have truly grown from and it makes me feel good to know I am not alone. I appreciate you all and want you to know I am always here for any of you in any way I am needed. Thanks TDS and thanks good friends!
Now let's hear what other members have to say...
