Yeah but for that to happen the Taliban would first have to not have much more than a tangential relationship to something like some planes flying into some skyscrapers or something.

Did they ever really "ban" it? I know they said they did but how do you enforce law in Afghanistan? The british and americans "banned" it too and they had drones flying over 24/7 and hundreds of thousands of troops - and they still grew the biggest crop in the history of the country.
Isn't this just good sounding words like every other statement about Afghanistan?

How many people have to speak it before it becomes recognised as such? (I just hope it's a figure beyond the reach of Scousers - though considering their ability to reproduce, that seems unlikely
