Okay, so it's finals time of year... you know the drill...

I'll keep this short and simple.

I got 3.5 hours of sleep last night. I have a chemistry final in the morning at 8AM that will make or break my grade. I woke up at 2PM, took a 36mg Concerta, and it is now past 9PM. The Concerta is wearing off, and I'm beginning to feel very groggy and tired, probably due to the comedown of the Concerta, along with my lack of sleep.

I have access to a 30mg dose of Vyvanse, and I was wondering whether it would be a terrible idea to take the Vyvanse around 12AM (midnight, 3 hours from now) and then just study nonstop until my final. I know that Concerta and Vyvanse are two distinct drugs, and I have looked elsewhere online and I can't seem to find an answer. Once again, my final exam is at 8AM, and I would sleep for about 10 hours afterwards.

Is it dangerous to take Vyvanse while Concerta is still active in your system? I'd rather not end up in the hospital. Should I take the Vyvanse or another 36mg Concerta?

Thanks! =D

the bad side effects can add up cumulatively but if you are dosing the amphetamine after the mph has worn off you should be fine

make sure you're eating and drinking properly, low blood sugar can make you feel groggy. maybe you just need a snack.

The effects of the mph have worn off but I'm pretty sure that it hasn't been completely eliminated from my system in just 7.5 hours.

Also, I've been drinking TONS of water, and I just ate dinner around an hour ago (had to force myself to eat due to lack of appetite).

In my situation, would you advise redosing with 36mg Concerta or dosing the 30mg Vyvanse. Which would be better for pulling an all nighter on little sleep?

Thanks for the reply btw!
