Survey on effects of recent drug busts

Hi people,
I am doing a bit of a survey on the effects the recent drug busts (It hurts visualise the actual amounts!!) of ECSTASY (50 Kg's) and COCAINE (500kg's) have had on supplies in Melbourne and Sydney. It is to help with some work I am doing to prove that the "drug War" by the government does not work! Is there any reduction in supply or quality and where did the gear come from?

AFAIR the vessel the coke was on originated from NZ , but previous to that a south american gentleman was the source.
The MDMA powder/pills came in from Indo but was believed to have originated from a european country (i want to say amsterdam but that would be an outside guess/cliche).
Its hard to say what the effect on quality will be as it fluctuates so wildly regardless of the busts.
