Tried several searches and did not really find any info. My local pharmacist told me that all of the small blue 30mg IR oxycodone are being phased out/over to the Sun R/P 30mg horse pills. Has anyone else heard or seen this happening? As someone who has been dealing with chronic pain, the same doctor and same pharmacy for many years I am wondering if this is true everywhere or just in the small Ohio town where I am located. Thanks in advance for any input.

He called 3 other local pharmacies on my behalf to see if they carried the small blue 30's. All of them said that they now only stock the R/P 30. Thought maybe this is going to be the next "deterrent". Sort of like when they changed Oxycontin to tamper proof. He even went on to say "they" are switching them all over to the larger R/P style to curb abuse. Not sure who "they" are? Pharmacy, Distributor, Government? The way he talked he has no choice but to take what his distributor sends him? Is that the case or could he order from a different manufacturer?
